This is just fodder for the Harden Hate - please ignore it and see how he looks coming out of training camp. So many are quick to jump on anything negative about Harden and turn into a bunch of "I-told-you-so's". It's almost comical to see how quickly Harden haters flock to a piece of news that could shed a bad light on him.

 

People are hating on him because knowing your franchise player doesn’t want to be here anymore is a hard pill to swallow.

 

I'm not jumping on the Harden hate train, but it would be extremely easy for him to say "I don't want to leave, I'm ready to go with the Rockets this season."

 

**** this guy, lets get rid of him. Trade him for the best offer available and end this drama.

 

I've honestly wondered how this board would have behaved when in 92 a disgruntled Hakeem was blamed for faking injury by the team. And then almost traded.... It wasn't all roses to those chips.

I'm also not comparing the two guys - or something but there were some other rough patches before Hakeem became the true leader that the 94 team needed.

 

Truth is, we don't know everything and it's premature to assume he'll be gone just because he's stated that in the past. Getting John Wall was a good thing because it probably means he'll stay and continue playing at a high level.

 

It's easier when you're not a fan of the team and just a fan of a player. This isn't a Harden forum. This is a Rockets and Houston centric forum.

This guy is a Harden only fan. I didn't even know these people existed until the Brooklyn rumors started and we quickly saw who they were. They are all hoping we fail to keep him because they believe he doesn't want to be here. It's rampant on Twitter. They all basically became Nets fans the second it was rumored. What happens when he signs an extension? Do they just switch and pretend like they like the team again?

 

Yes and he has a better career trajectory relative to his league than Harden did. Don't put slander on Watson.

 

The way I see it is, why is he wasting his time with a franchise that doesn't seem to be 100% locked in to winning the title. The man has generated all sorts of revenue for Houston. He is Houston! He is at his prime and Tilman should spend everything he has on bringing the city of Houston a championship. If the Cavs were willing to spend all that money on Lebron to get the best possible team mates and Miami was willing to spend so should Tilman! Especially in the eyes of someone who has literally busted his @$$ from day 1 of wearing Rockets Red. Just wasting Harden's time and the city's time. Tilman needs to go.

Nah, if I was a child I'd call other people 12 and root for a single player. I went to school with James. I lived in the same dorm hall. I have rooted for him longer than you had his poster on your wall. I'm a Rockets fan because that's what you do when you love your city. I'm not some bozo who roots for only a player like they are my favorite actor.
