In hindsight if I knew CP3 would have a bounce back healthy season which he did in OKC, there would be no question that he should have stayed. But there was uncertain because of his drop off in play and being less healthy in his second season here.

I don't trust your rationality if you dedicated a portion of your life to following players around for autographs. It shows a sycophanthy type obsession where you will always defend.

list down your top 50 NBA players and their BMIs

prove that Harden is "overweight" compared to them

Who said freedom was a right granted at birth? Not me and not here, pretty sure that was thomas jefferson and the constitution that made those arguments. I'm just posting william wallace gifs bro.

Don't think I'm easily mistaken for the founding fathers of america. Anyways I like to hear more about how you thinks jefferson and adams etc were mistaken. That the core idea of inalienable rights was laughable.

Bongman vs some old heads ! I believe in you bro.

Harden doesn’t owe u anything? Could’ve fooled me with the way you’re always on here b*tching. U even have the nerve to say that because u were tired of going out at 25, then those that aren’t are probably less mature. Gtfoh

Nope. You're also going to hate any star player that comes here who also parties. So you want him traded so you can tank again just because he's not Lebron James. This is insane.

Ya from my experience those who still want to go clubbing in their 30s are slightly less mature than the peers I have who kinds stopped. Sometimes having a family forces you to mature and set priorities so that maturity was forced on to them rather than them being "better" people. I think you are upset because you think I'm making a moral.claim regarding Harden's character. I'm not. Prioritizing partying to being prepared for basketball isn't a moral thing. Harden seems like a good approachable nice dude who helps the community and has shown loyalty before to Houston.

He doesn't have to abide by anything. I just think he shouldn't be partying now. I think if his personal life slowed down this wouldn't be as much of an issue. He can do whatever he wants.

I'm not entitled to anything here. I'm just posting on a message board. You throw many assumptions when you get angry over a difference in opinion.

A lot of male athletes slow down their partying and step up their community service when they get married and even more when they have kids. I don't think that is that strange of a take. James himself describes himself as weird in the GQ article a couple years ago. The beard helps that image. He has several awkward moments with the media. Not to the level of Kawhi or Rose, but he doesn't fit the mold of athletes at his level.

Again, this isn't criticism by me. Like I said, I don't care. I'm a fan of the dude because of what he does on the court. I don't pay attention to what he does off the court. Nothing he does off the court takes away from what he does on the court. He's not getting suspended or arrested. But there is still a lot of things that he does that draws criticism FROM OTHERS that it is best just to leave it alone and let him be.

The shrewd thing is to hide it and do not share it on IG or something at the first instant.

Lou Williams at least tried to spin it by saying he had a food takeout in a strip joint........

Nobody really cares if he parties, but he should at least wear a mask. Or try not to go.

I'm confident if Jordan never won a ring, his gambling addiction would be a much larger public issue that would ruin his reputation rather than being one of the most celebrated of not the most celebrated athlete of all time.

and your life experience doesn’t mean sh*t...u can’t comprehend that Harden is a rich, young athlete and not some average rando like u

rich athletes party a lot...escape from your bubble and realize this

Harden grew up with no father in Compton and became 1 of the top 30 players in NBA history and 1 of the greatest scorers ever...he is constantly in the gym working on his game and honing his craft

I don’t think he needs fcking fchowder to tell him how to live his life...

If you don't have a ring people are going to look harder for reasons why you didn't and they will point to the party life style.

And it's about frequency. Of course most players go to clubs and parties. But some go more than others and when Harden is famous for being the patron saint of strippers in NBA circles, ya he probably has a higher frequency of partying and drinking than other players. There was no initial personal agenda against Harden. Harden created that perception and the media latched on to it. It's not the other way around where the media created it first and then the perception occured.
