    There were instances of liberals/progressives joining Parler and making intentionally provocative posts to test their adherence to “free speech”. It would be hard to tell how much of the really extreme stuff is sincere vs trolling.

    The world would be better off with an alternative to Twitter that actually fixes its problems. Parler, instead, doubles down on them. They literally use the term “echo” for retweeting. It is a supremely efficient echo chamber tool, not an effective platform for real communication.

    Parler is just mainstream 4chan for older people. what's amazing is that the type of stuff that was allowed on 4chan was only there because it was anonymous and people wouldn't dare attaching their name to the crazy **** that they would post. On Parler, people are perfectly okay owning up to it. This is the radicalization of the right.
