When the media talk about Wall injury' it's a Huge gamble, we don't know what the Rockets are getting. When the media talk about Durant coming back " from 2 yr injury layoff" , they still expect the same Greatness, and keep pushing for Harden to join him with an over rated Kyrie Irving.. I never seen the Media want a player so bad. The same player they loved to hate
We could not play any other ways because we had to get rid of all big men in order for Westbrook to function well. Small ball was the result of getting Westbrook. That's a well known fact. When we faced a team that could play "small ball" with big men like AD and LeBron, we had no other recourse.
Which is why WB should be diming up Harden..... It's pretty simple.... it's why OKC was successful with 6th man of the year Harden.
LOL. Any idiot can look at raw numbers.... but where's the context? We knew this would be a bad fit.... why would we expect WB to come storming out the gate?
So in your mind, the best way to win is to take the ball out of the hands of the best creator and ball handler in the NBA and put the ball in the hands of the most turnover prone, worst shooting player in the league over the past half decade? Smart. I truly feel bad for Beal.
There’s no point. A westbrick stan stays a Stan. I’ve already said multiple times I’ve posted the numbers on this board over and over. At this point, it’s unnecessary especially for a Stan that would make up weak gimmick excuses anyway. The same ones they did for the entire year
Career TOV% Harden- 15.2% WB- 15.7% Wall- 17.3% Career AST% Harden- 32.2% WB- 42.3% Wall- 42.4% TS% Harden- 61% WB- 53% Wall- 52% Your bias utterly blinds you. If Russ is really the worst shooting guard player in half a decade then you definitely want someone else shooting, someone better.....
Once again you don’t know what you’re talking about. The lakers doubled Murray even with a stretch 5. When you have the personnel as the Lakers do it doesn’t matter. Jacking up 3s won’t save you
LOLOLOLOL.... I joined a month after you and yet im a Stan because I don't think WB is the worst player in the history of the Rockets..... You got me.. I was just playing the long game on CF.
another ignorant fool sipping the koolaid. We traded Clint to get under the tax NOT for Westbrook. No matter what the front office spoon fed you at the time that’s the real reason
We wanted to play "small ball" before we got WB..... Capela had a soft tissue injury and wasn't going to be able to contribute on a team gunning for the playoffs. Lets not pretend the only reason we moved him was due to WB (he was in CF trade packages before WB arrived). We had moved away from heavy PNR before trading for WB..... The more we play ISOball the less we need a PNR center.....
Yeah but at least we got a first round pick. For this year I don't think the trade makes us better or Worse. Will just all depend on what Pick we get.
Notice how you didn't disagree with anything I said because you know they are facts, you just tried to muddy the water. Westbrook is THE most turnover prone guard in the past half decade. Westbrook is THE worst shooter in the NBA over the past decade. Now sure, Harden struggles with turnovers as well, but if you are seriously trying to compare the two as ball handlers, you are beyond delusional. Taking the ball out of Harden's hands to put it in the hands of Westbrook is a recipe for disaster. Now sure, your boy was a top 10 player on the Rockets roster last season (regular season only), but you might as well be arguing that Ben McLemore should handle the ball over Harden. It's nonsensical. Even worse, not only can Westbrook not shoot the ball, he's absolutely garbage in isolation Harden in isolation 1.12 points per possession last season, Westbrook 0.87....worst on the team BTW. There's basically no scenario where you actually want the ball in Westbrook's hands, ever. Yet he's even more pathetic without it.
Revisionist history. We had three players (not counting Tyson Chandler) 6-10 or taller before we got Russ. We had none after we got him. Now after Russ wanted out we immediately got two big men. See the pattern?
Exactly. You can't have a big man on the court alongside a guard that shoots like Shaq. The Rockets bent over backwards to try to make Westbrook work, but he's just too terrible a player to make anything work with him.
