Rockets Starting Line Up?

depends on boogie/wall health at the beginning of the season.

i could see a wall/eg/harden/wood/cousins being our best lineup. but im curious what kind of defense wood and cousins can play

I think House may start. But if boogie can play. I rather slide PJ to the SF spot. He's a better defender than House, although House has improved. PJ also does some of the defense audibles. Harden and PJ will have to do some of that, as the new faces might not know which spots to stand in the Rockets system at the beginning of the season.

In most games PJ may not have to uphill battle opposing team's tallest guy. That could translate to restful legs to get his corner 3pters back up.

So you want to move him for nothing of value coming back when you are trying to compete for a title? I don’t understand the logic in here at times.

Not all need to make the team......but Eric Gordon is completely overrated and clogs up the works.

 

Harden and Wall are the only guards that are better than EG. Everyone else on that list is a scrub. Comeon man. Dude had a bad year last year but the team as a whole wasn’t very good. He will bounce back.

My take exactly, people excited about green coming back or bmac and other new signing thinking they are better than EG hahaha. In the last playoffs he carried us in game 7 vs okc and played big in every win. Against the lakers, they played box in 1 with him as the only offensive threat on the floor. Thats called respect, something a lot of rockets fans dont have for eg unfortunately.

 

And EG did a good job guarding CP3 in the playoffs.

 

That is the best starting five from a talent standpoint we can throw out their and it also gives us EG and House off the bench to shoot threes and score. Both have show they can hit 5-6 threes in a game but also miss every shot they take that’s why since neither is as good at D as tucker I’d put them both on the bench.
