Is it possible that the top two comeback player of the year candidates are on the rockets now Media: don’t forget about Stephanie!
not really. tilman does as we know now. they weren't winning that series with the supporting cast around harden/cp3.
its also possible that the performance was due to injury and he will be better next playoff roulette ( kinda happened with CP3 ) Russ is no genius, but to me , he needs his body to be fairly right to be his best mental self. Like if he had his athleticism then he can finish at the rim vs getting caught in bad situations.
I like this trade even more now that I know you don’t (the trade is about the rebuild, not next year, jimmy is next)
of course it was the minority, but a number of the best posters on this board shared the same exact thoughts from day 1. that's how we knew it was a disaster from day one. The minority means nothing other than for the most part, those are who know what they're actually talking about on this board. It's well known how the quality if this board has gone downhill with the influx of casuals who talk nonsense and are wrong all the time. The same went for the garbage summer of melo, mcw, ennis etc acquisition while the casuals tried to be all loud and tell the board these moves were awesome. but in reality were just plain stupid. and no it wouldn't work. that ship was never even close to dock
All things can be true. Morey threw a tantrum because he didn't want to trade CP3 and threw away all the Rockets picks and he hates Tilman. Only player Morey wanted to give multiple picks for was Butler. To give away all those picks for a player he openly ridiculed makes me believe Morey deliberately sabotaged the Rockets out of spite.
Let’s not get it twisted. Beal is much better, impactful and useful player in today’s NBA. Ask NBA GM who they would rather have. Regardless, the point was to mock WB’s “I want to be the man again” sob story. He goes from playing with one superior ball-dominant guard to another. At least he’s someone else’s problem now.
Lots there. Thanks! But to a point you didn't make, Wall must have a higher basketball IQ, right? I hope? Not saying Russ is stupid, but I think sometimes his adrenaline clouds his judgement, leading to stupid decisions (at times). I've never watched Wall play, but if he is even average on this point (IQ), then we gained in still another area when comparing the two players.
Of course YOU like this trade because you are a moron. Trading Harden would be a disaster for the Rockets. Rebuilding is NEVER guarantee of ANYTHING. Especially when shackled with the worst contract in the NBA.
