And yet you have no problem with inflicting punishing sanctions that strengthen the theocracy's grip on power by increasing anti-American and anti-West sentiment while weakening the "regular people".

A lot of Shi'ite Muslims throughout the region face oppression and terrorist attacks and depend on Iranian support for protection. Iran was instrumental in defeating ISIS in Iraq. So who is evil and who isn't is a matter of perspective.

I trust Western intelligence forces over your opinion.

“Western intelligence” is in agreement with me. The view that killing this guy saved millions of lives is not supported by any evidence. It’s just something you are making up.

None of this does much to support your point or contradict what I wrote. Iran is perfectly capable of developing nuclear weapons without this guy. For hardliners, it makes their pursuit for nuclear weapons as a deterrence even more urgent. It strengthens their resistance to agreeing to nuclear treaties.

I get where you’re coming from, but this has zero impact on Iran’s ability to develop a nuke. The bottle neck is enriching enough Uranium through centrifuges. Once they have that they have material that can become critical and is weapons grade. Even if they manage to wipe out half their engineers it wouldn’t stop them. You would have to have a large scale attack on their facilities or full out war. I think people are saying regardless of how you view Iran this is not effective whether you’re at your POV or fchowd’s. Like I said, half measures are useless when the other side knows you’re bluffing.

whip it out or kindly tuck it back in. If Iran is has any thought to self preservation they/their citizens are going to back developing a nuke at all costs now more than ever

You confuse moral claims with claims if what is.

To me this is a perfect example of a regime that prioritizes self-preservation above all else even the if it means sacrificing the rights of their citizens. No one has claimed anything more about them.

Hence why their only reason for weapons grade enrichment is to have the ultimate "No trespassing " sign. No where here am I making a moral claim about Iran.

    Stop beating up strawmen.
