Right now I say Dolan. Look, they BOTH suck but Dolan spends and Tilman does not.

A better example would be Tilman and Sarver. Both suck and both won't spend.

A better example is what happens after Harden. He's not spending during Harden which is wild but the payroll is still pretty high. Top 1/3 of the league. Hopefully we luck into a championship and Tilman gets galvanized and changes his tactics. I really really think we should all keep faith for one more season. Let's see where we stand come December 22 when the new season starts.

Honestly, I think I was the first person on Twitter or on these forums to turn on Tilman and it was before Ariza even happened. Most people on there and here argued against me. I'm going to go against the grain again and say TILMAN WILL PAY THE TAX FOR 1 SEASON. That season is now.

lmao, tinman's really going to die on this hill because he hates Les so much. Reminder: Literally every business Tilman Fertitta has ever run has prioritized profit over product.

Anyway, if this is the debate we're having, the team is in trouble regardless.

Tough to compare given Dolan's long tenure, but Tilman's well on the road. He'd be getting much more heat if he were in NY or LA.

Tillman could eventually run the second best franchise player( Moses to me is right on par with James) right out of town with his antics. This guy is a piece of work

Its a dead heat in terms of votes but I'm going with Dolan being better than Tilman.

Dolan sucks , don't get me wrong but he didn't destroy a 65 win team that was within a Felicia hamstring away from dethroning one of the most dominant dynasties in the history of the league.

I think even Dolan would have spent into the tax to keep / improve that team.

He also didn't have the best GM in the business and make him want to walk away so bad he left $32m on the table.

Ferntits sucks , worst owner in the history of professional sports.

Tilman would never pay these dudes this much
and on top of that the Rockets usually don't overpay bad players
    (except Ryan Anderson)

    Not the Knicks.

    @Reeko

Morey would be thrown out of Toyota Center by the fans if he got scrubs at this salary

Tilman has 3 stars and a potential star. Dolan has R J Barrett.

Confirmed that the Knicks plan was Carmelo and Paul

    https://nypost.com/2020/11/30/leon-roses-grand-knicks-roster-plans-went-up-in-flames/

This wasn’t Rose’s Plan A, however. When Rose came aboard, The Post has learned, he talked internally about his grandiose plans of trading for point guard Chris Paul, his former CAA client, to hasten the rebuild.

Then Rose planned to sign ex-Knick Carmelo Anthony, Paul’s buddy. Anthony also is a former Rose client who rejuvenated his career in Portland.

It's a sad state as a Rockets when this thread even exists at all and Tinman's strongest defense is "WE ARE NOT THE KNICKS!"
