I understand wear your coming from but I think EG can be what he was his first year when he won 6th man. The small ball was not good for him imo.

I like Wood at center he’s taller than clint and is the same weight but he’s quicker and has a shot from outside and also can put the ball on the floor and get to the hoop and finish.

clint is a better rebounder tho and slightly better protecting the paint. I think a starting five of harden/EG/PJ/Love/Wood is a very talented and fits good.

Trading EG for some 3 and D player I don’t think will make the team great on D. Rockets need to get talent that works around Harden and stop worrying about Defense so much. Silas might help just with a different scheme meaning know more switching.

I could be wrong but if we can trade Westbrook for Love I would do it now. Offensively that starting 5 fits perfect around Harden as the only true MVP superstar. Gives the team the best shot and will prob make Harden happy.

 

old and un-athletic us not the way to build around aging stars and its surely not the way to rebuild if needed.

wood is a good signing because he adds youth and athleticism and skill. he will fit well with James and he will help through a rebuild as well.

we need our 4/5s to play above the rim. we need our 2/3s to be able to attack off the dribble and finish with a dunk rather than trying to get a foul. and we need our combo guards to be able to dribble and pass for a change.

I think there's a point in all of this where if options don't play out you just make Westbrook and Harden continue with the Rockets and put up or shut up and have no one left to blame but themselves if they can't win a title.

If they act like spoiled little c**** next season, send them the f*** out of here.

Not for the price tag that Love has on him. He is good but he doesn't move that needle. Wood is 6'10 with a shot and is not being paid a rediculous contract. If we didn't get wood I'd say ok but right now we are fine.
We just need one that is reasonably priced that can come off the bench like NeNe did for Clynt. We don't need to overspend.

Plus Love/Osman. I am even ok throwing them a second round pick next year or 2022 if they want.
You shed about 1.2m in from cap. If you don't like Osman grab Porter Jr for two years. You shed 8m from cap.

Questions is how high was the asking price. Thoughts?

Or Love plus Garland/9th pick, both pieces would've been better, Sexton is pretty much a poor man Westbrook, low iq chucker with no defense and without the elite athleticism. If the Rockets request was Love plus Sexton i think the Cavs would've jump on that.
