never really cared for media day tbh...just a bunch of cliches and platitudes thrown out

 

May be a Blessing in the skies if it allows the team to not be asked a million questions about the trade demands ?

 

Yeah, but usually after an off-season, it meant that the season was getting ready to start, so was a welcome relief for me. This year it's more like "didn't the season just end?" and "I have no idea what's going on -- can we stop this ride?" with the Rockets.

I hate to be that guy, but the idiom is "blessing in disguise." My wife recently corrected me on an idiom I'd been saying wrong for years, so I can relate. Friends don't let friends use idioms incorrectly.

 

I find it creative when folks are mixing up old idioms.
