Texas, the state, has lots of QBs and RBs....I'm way more concerned with UT recruiting all of the OLs. To me, they seem to be slacking in that regard. DLs galore! I want a roadgrading OL.
Agreed. Losing out on the Brockmeyer twins is almost worse than losing out on Quinn, even as a generational QB talent. Apparently a lot of it stemmed from Herman not offering their big brother Luke a scholarship. The fact that we don't develop OL for **** probably didn't help either.
Kaepernick doesn't want to play anymore unless he's making 20 million per year. Nobody's going to pay him that kinda money.

Seems like the consensus from a lot of the “insiders” is that Herman is essentially one loss away from getting canned. And apparently off field factors have played a large role. I have no idea what’s gonna happen but to me CDC’s response has been a pretty big tell. Someone tallied it up and he’s tweeted something like 3 tweets about football since OU, while tweeting out 20+ for volleyball, swimming, etc...
Another failed UT football coach........ at some point the school needs to look internally and figure out why outside of Brown and Akers, no one has been able to win at UT for 40 years.... over the last 11 seasons the Horns have finished ranked 3 times and only once better than 19th. UT shouldn't be winning a national title every year but something is off and has been.
Idk. I agree with Herman and think that's a really dumb thing to look at. Overall, Texas would be better off if we had 1/3 of the number of "insiders" trying to sell monthly subscriptions by peddling drama.
He's not totally wrong. It's not just recruiting sites. Historically it was the bigmoney guys talking **** behind the scenes to actual journalists...now it's anybody's friends or family or a nobody talking **** on social media. And a lot of it now is coming from other schools, but that doesn't mean that some of it isn't true, it just means that there's a whole lot of noise to filter through.
