    Stone is a rookie captain that was handed sterling wheel of a titanic because his former boss Morey escaped like a rat and now it looks like he didnt **** his pants and gave a ship chance not to crash

    Only issue is that is he benefitting off the groundwork Morey laid this season? Like the wood deal, sounds like the arrangement was decided on earlier in the season, also will he continue to helm the analytics department and maintain the step ahead status we had in the past (I know we didn't always land who we wanted).

    Typical, you dont even have a rebuttal. You just want to get happy off of moves that arent needle movers for us. Or you are one of those Morey haters who says "its basketketball, not math." In either case, they arent arguments I take seriously. If you want to nut hug stone cause he's not Morey, feel free, I will not.

    Stone may end up being a great GM. If we didn't have the ownership we currently do, I might be somewhat excited to see what some fresh blood could do with the GM/HC jobs.

    However we do have this ownership, and I don't trust him even a little. So I'm still not getting my hopes up. Whatever progress we may make, he'll find someway to undercut it to save a few dollars.

    I looks like we are witnessing a different approach based on the same principles. Stone appears to have the savvy of analytics plus the basketball eye test on talent. The next month will be telling
