Castor wants some Turkey and Greenbean casserole asap!

Unless there is a hurricane in that pontiac building or whatever they call it these days, I expect Stafford to pull the average 115 rating vs the defense. Texans just need that one turnover from him and Watson has to match the performance.
    Texans win by 14 pts.

This game is important not just for Texans fans on Thanksgiving but for football fans across the country. if we want to rid the world of these petty sloppy mofos who give away their talent because they think they're Bellichick, the patricia must be crushed. The NFL is better as a whole when the Lions are 8-8! Tim the tool man Taylor showing his sons tape of Barry Sanders running for 70yd runs Uff uff uff uff! That's what Lions football is about!

Get the win and patty is fired by Monday. Liberate Detroit fans!!!

The Lions seem to be actively revolting against Matt Patricia(who is a WORSE coach than BoB), I think the Texans could play just an ok game and still win.

    28-17

Stafford has an injured throwing hand, like a tendon or something, and it's clearly affected their scoring potential. This run defense plays with their pants down, and somehow play even worse when they stack the box. Damien Harris' 10 yard touchdown yesterday was against a 9-man front and he still scored without getting touched. Early scores like yesterday feel like the best step to force the Lions to pass.

Plus it's our chance to bury the BOB of the NFC. Do the lions the same favor that the Vikings did for us.

Deshaun should FEAST - a lesser version of the New England defense.

Not sure if the defense can make it 2 games in a row of above average play, so i'll take a high scoring win for the good guys.

Pittsburgh (still not sure what that was in the second half), Minnesota (Fuller bobbled the catch in the end zone), Tennessee (terrible finish and poor coaching decisions), and Cleveland (poor game management) all loom large for the in-season story of the 2020 Texans. Split those 4, and the team is 5-5 with 3 division games left to go and seemingly winnable games against Detroit, Chicago, and Cincinnati (without Burrow) as well.

My friend who is from Detroit is actively rooting for the Lions to lose every game so they fire Patricia. Dude makes BoB look competent.

Also, don't be surprised if Detroit kicks the tires on BoB for their coaching job once it opens up(I laughed hysterically as well)

Lions defense made PJ Walker look like Mahomes so Deshaun should have a huge game

Keeping any eye on Deandre Swift and Golladay

With margins that thin, if we would have kept Nuk, we would be in the playoff face imo. If we fired BoB before he could trade him, we’d be in the hunt

Nuk doesn't play defense. Texans wouldn't be in the hunt.

With Nuk the Texans win the Vikings game, the Titans game, and the Browns game. Remember, the team quit on BoB before the Vikings game so likely if BoB wasn't around the team plays hard and beats Minnesota who isn't very good. The Titans game was very close, down to the wire, Nuk might have been the guy to convert the 2 pt conversion. As for the browns game, it was low scoring and who knows, Nuk might have had a couple big catches to set up scores.

That's 3 wins and the Texans would be 6-4 right now instead of 3-7.

Changing the outcome of a couple of early games means BoB is still the coach.

The Texans would still have BoB if Nuk was here. Nuk was sacrificed to get rid of BoB.

If we made the playoffs, we'd still be under BOB and at a perennial risk of a wild card elimination. Hopefully they'd still fire him at that point, OR they could con McNair into thinking BOB should just be either a fulltime coach or fulltime GM. And then BOB and Jack would have a stranglehold for the foreseeable future.

I am saying that we should have fired BoB before we traded Nuk, and then the Texans would be in the Playoff hunt right now.

I don't know, Desi. I loved playing that 4th quarter vs Pitt like the Texans were up 21 points instead of up by 1.
But I think if they played offense like they're doing now, attempting pick routes, crossing routes and even pseudo screens they beat Pitt. They were giving the Pitt Defense free plays with multiple 1 yard dives in consecutive series.

The replies to your comments say that Hopkins didn't play defense. There are 2 other guys that were exiled that were crucial in stopping the run. Hopkins combined with those 2 other guys is definitely a 3 to 4 game swing. Conley is missed because he prevented Hargreeves from getting on the field at the rate he has this season. Unfortunately those wins would equal B.O.B still being here.
I still enjoy watching the games even though the D, running game and front office have all been a diarrhea show.
