This is great everyone thinking cousins is the guy to save the day . Haha absolutely no leadership on this squad . Rockets will be a 6/8 seed team while shopping James and Westbrook . This team will keep fans buying tickets and jerseys though . Y’all a bunch of donuts to think this team will even get out of the first round . That’s if they make playoffs at all .

    id do it why not.

the team would look 100% different.

be entertaining to watch at the very least assuming wall and boogie can stay healthy.

I don’t think its a contender but also wouldn’t be surprised if they were able to be the 2 seed.

just be fun and a totally different team to watch. Plus if healthy I kind of like wall better than Russ but I do think Russ is the Better player.

Fully recovered Westbrook with no COVID.

New coach with a new system.

Christian Wood emerges as a star.

Healthy Boogie trying to prove his haters wrong.

Wall comes and is in good health. Cousins can play 20 minutes per game w no problems. Contender!

EGo has to be moved IMO, the question is when.

Until then, Tucker is a starter with EGo off the bench.

Tucker is the only legit lock down defender now. At 5 he was undersized, at the 3 he is bigger, stronger and laterally as quick than any other 3.

Best case is he plays like DMO and we recapture some of the swag of the 14-15 team .

We need to unlock harden’s old man game along with some new school step back .

Russ will he traded if we can get a clear upgrade , but brotherhood and bromance are strong . If we get the chemistry right then Russ can be dangerous for us .

how will Russ fair guarding quick PG’s is the question . Can wood and cousins and pj form a trio of forwards/bigs that deter shots at the rim ?

we need a few more pieces , Or maybe some of these young guys will step up . It’s apparent we are going to try a different style . Just what style and how many more pieces we can bring in will determine how much of a shot we have .

I hope we bring in batum too .

crazed scenario , in a stunning display of putting his ego aside , James harden moves back to 6th man .

    Russ/harden
    Gordon/maclemore
    Batum/house
    Wood/Pj
    Cousins/

and we have maybe a young forward break out and play with that second group for a few minutes . Of course , james still gets 30+ min a game ... but basically becomes super manu again . Starters play old school , cousins can post , wood And Russ pick and roll and pj and Eric spotting up .

James can lead a small ball unit or can have a big in for lob threat . Tho cousins I think is grounded , he can still roll PnR like James and DMO did , getting layups and using his skill and big body .

He averaged 16.3 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.6 for the Warriors before his last injury. He’s only 30-years-old. At the very least we just got a good rebounder that can guard the low post against guys like Gasol and AD. Last year we had a 6’5” guy trying to lock down the middle as bigger players drove in freely for layups. Maybe he turns out to be a situational player for certain matchups... just like the Lakers played last year. They were able to go big or small, but not the Rockets. That signing gives the Rockets options... if he pans out. Great move!

Yes! Better than a Melo situation. This man has a chip on his shoulder. I want that. He is also a vet. Harden is trying to stock up on artillery!

    Thor, after the "snap"?

Actually, as ashleyem mentioned, we have to take the chance. Even if you only play him 25 mpg, and if he stays healthy (big IF), then this is an awesome signing.

I think it would have been more fun to see Boogie on a CP2 team. (chortle, chuckle)

Benching Tucker would be foolish. He is the defense at this point. Let PJ play SF. He’s does everything that House can do just better and he’s not dumb like House is.

    Russ
    JH
    PJ
    Wood
Boogie ( Not likely though doubt he plays much )

Wall still has no timetable to return for the Wizards. If rockets is running it back; it's next season: availability and attendance.

Two years ago this man was the hottest commodity in the league. A tale of two centers him and AD, hope he will like here and be productive.

Boy we may be the quickest team to flip from small ball to big ball in 5 seconds.
