Would an offer of like House, Clemons and the two first rounders they got for Covington move the needle at all? I doubt it, but it's not terrible.
That’s a joke. They can ultimately get better offers then that. The picks will be something that would grab their attention but they would want better younger players
Np. Though it came of like a joke. It's actually the only likely scenario it'd happen. Furthermore a package of ingram, multiple picks plus salary filler for harden would be one of the best offers the rockets can probably get.
The only time that BYC is applicable anymore is in a sign and trade. Heild is under contract until 2024 after signing a new deal prior to last season. BYC would be involved in any trade for him.
One of the picks we got for Covington is gone so we pretty much have one, cause the Pistons one likely won't matter for years and will turn into a 2nd (or two, can't remember now) so, it has to have pretty much no value. I don't even know if the 2021 Blazers pick would be enough to have a team take on Eric's contract...probably yes, but still, you would have to give up more than House and Clemons i'd say.
What happened to that second FRP from the Blazers? I saw the Bima tweet but nothing else other than that.
u gotta do way too much mental gymnastics to concoct a realistic Buddy Hield to Houston scenario as much as I would love for something like that to happen Hield>super scrub EG
This is what I expected. These Super Max contracts are starting to backfire on the NBA and some of these teams.
One pick is the 2021 1st rounder, the other one was the 16th of this draft and we traded it to Detroit for a future 1st that will be top 16/lottery protected for like 3/4 years and turn into a 2nd rounder (or two) in like 2025.
Yep, although one likely has no value. Now i was also looking at realgm to see the exact protections and i can't find any mention of that pick, did we already trade that?
Yeah i remember that, it's just that i can't find mention in our pick list about the future 1st Detroit traded to us for the 16th pick, did we already trade that?
Heild is a $9 million role player getting paid $25 million per year for the next 5 years. let’s move on
He had one bad year, do you really think the dude is washed at 31 years old. No. This is the same mistake you guys made with Chris Paul. Gordon will be better. And his contract is good, it came after he was our second best player in the playoffs. If he comes back to his average self, he will either help our team out a lot or net good assets. Trading him now is a stupid move.
The Detroit Pick protections 1-16 first four years, 1-10 next two, top 9 in year seven, then converts to second in year 8. aka a 2nd round pick lol
Not to my knowledge. @BimaThug can you shed any light on the 2021 Blazers frp that was originally reported in the RoCo trade? I saw your tweet but nothing about it after that.
