Imo if the rockets could get multiple first or good young prospects along with cap relief for westbrook they wouldve done so before you could type up a westbrook appreciation thread.

Theirs a reason wall + rui/picks or mitchell + handle + picks or charlotte's picks aren't with the rockets and Westbrook with those teams.

He isnt going to get you those things at the moment. I'd be happy to be proven wrong, but don't hold your breath.

Ok that’s two more, the rest favor Westbrook.

    DWS
    WS/48
    WS
    Same OBPM

And that is in one of Jrue better advance stat seasons vs one of the worst for Westbrook.

"Scout with Bryan" is the biggest clown on twitter. Yes, on the entire platform. The amount of embarrassment I feel on his behalf when reading his tweets is so overwhelming that my therapist has forbidden me to ever see his page again.

Boogie and Wall is funny cause both havent played in 2 years and have something to prove, might as well do this around Harden last year possibly. Ya never know.

It looks nice on paper but the problem is Wall hasn’t played a single game in 2 years, and hasn’t played over half a season in 4 years.

If we trade WB for Wall, the expectation should be for him to be pretty bad, if he can ever get healthy at all.

Wall is one of the very few “stars” to have an even lower shooting efficiency then WB as well, which makes him, even if healthy, as bad of a fit as WB.

Would rather just have picks than some undersized center who can't play defense

This reeks of desperation. Just start the season with both of our guys until something better comes along. That's why there's contracts. Why even have them if we're just gonna let players do whatever the **** they want?

letting players do whatever they want is basically how the nba works because they have all the power.

but ultimately i agree. they are under contract for several more years and unless they literally just want to sit out, then they will play and probably try to play well. start the season, make them play and see how it goes. maybe things go better than expected and they forget about their trade demands. or they don't and you're right back where you started and start fielding offers.

It seems Tillman actually wants westi gone. Probably wants to get rid of his contract to a team like the Knicks that can absorb it . Problem is we will not get anything of great of value in return or atleast equal to Russ to improve the team infact it probably will take us to regress mode. I was in a jubilee mood thinking maybe Tillman’s reluctance on spending was a thing of the past.

Please let’s not just trade him for the sake of getting rid of his contract but getting some assets back.

SOS from the media....the shopping continues with them being used in an attempt to bring his price down... or we're clearing space quickly for the big surprise/moves, which are now good to go.

there’s been too much smoke with Westbrook. It’s possible a Gordon trade comes out of left field, but more likely it’s Russ. He’s been connected to the Knicks, Hornets, Magic and Wizards.

it is woj/shams/Stein/Haynes I am referring to. He’s been mentioned as being shopped by all of them. “Nothing close” is just negotiating words that may or may not be true. But he has been shopped. There are no credible rumors that Gordon is being shopped, though he might be.
