I think you guys are worried about nothing. McClain said 9 GM candidates have talked to him to get a feeling not about Easterby, but Cal McNair. A GM would love to work for Cal. McNair’s have always been hands off, willing to spend money, and give time to make changes. There won’t be a problem getting people interested in the GM job.

Um...you are wrong. Easterby has no affect on the GM job. He won’t be there. You have an owner who will spend money and who gives you time to implement changes. GM candidates will be plentiful.

As you said, McClain said almost the opposite of what was told to Schefter. So have to ask who you believe, McClain or Schefter? Or is Cal having trouble keeping his story straight?

Won’t be where? With the organization? Cal being quoted as saying he absolutely will be.

I've heard from people that Easterby is not safe by any means. He is literally at placeholder for the next GM and his fate will be decided by the next GM.

Sure hope you are right. But that is almost the opposite of what Cal told Schefter apparently. Assuming he didn’t make it up, sure doesn’t seem as concrete as you are making it out to be.

You didn’t hear what McClain said after Schefty’s tweet. He was adamant in his assertion that Easterby’s fate would be determined by the next GM.

I believe you. But you also have Adam Schefter quoting Cal saying something completely different.

Think this will be the 3rd I’m gotta ask. Who do you believe? McClain, Schefter, or is Cal simply telling them two different things? And mind you there is no wrong answer here, just wanna see how you reconcile these two quotes.

Well McNair is doing the right things. He has hired an outside consulting firm to guide the GM search and is talking to the face of the franchise about the future of the organization.

Don’t count out Joe Brady either, from the grapevine that Deshaun is a fan of his as well. Don’t expect it to be Aurthur Smith, or any of the defensive guys.

Fluffy pancakes did say Watson would never have a say on the next head coach.
Turns out Cal had dinner with Watson with that as the subject of conversation

    Any other opening.

No particular order...ATL, NYJ (Trevor Lawrence?) and JAC (Justin Fields?).

    Not my words, Scarface.

But I’ve put myself on record for wanting Joe Brady anyway.
