Am I the only cynic who is wondering if some of these anti-masker positive testers are faking it......to “show” the threat isn’t “real.”?
I wondered that, especially as none of the super-old senators have gotten very sick with it. I really wondered if Rand Paul faked his COVID result in particular. The universe really owes us a very ill GOP senator who helped deny the severity of the illness, now that we've put a quarter million fellow Americans in body bags. It wouldn't even come close to justice, but it would be a start.
And with that news, Kelly Loeffler has locked in the pro-CV-19 vote. It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for 'em.
It is something that is crossing my mind. I said back when Trump got infected that if he beat it he would double down on that this isn't that serious and sure enough he did. At this point I don't put it beyond those like Loeffler to do the same. Also to add the care that they are getting is better than what most Americans can get too. Even if they aren't faking it they have access to better care than most of their supporters.
I'm pretty sure the families of the 252,460 dead people know it's serious. At least the 85% of Democrats and 45% of Republicans.
