Hunter was touted as being NBA ready and was expected to provide defense and spacing. Dude provided "meh" shooting and was horrible defensively. He is decent for an average rookie but not decent for 4th pick in the draft and def not decent for what the Hawks gave up for him (8th, 17th, 2nd round pick upgrade, absorbed Jerome Hill's contract and a 2020 Cleveland pick). I'm not blaming Hunter for being a bust its not his fault the Hawks traded up for him but that change the fact he is a bust. Not a bust as an NBA player but a bust as the 4rth pick as there were a lot of players taken after him that has shown much more. One of his selling pts was his NBA readiness as he is already a junior if it is gonna take him 5 years to blossom then Hawks wouldve taken a project with higher potential instead.
At least they got Marcus "Baby Melo" Morris for 64/4. Lmao!!! Kawhi and/or PG are most likely gone after this season, hopefully those picks they gave to OKC has some protections on it. Maybe Ballmer can talk to Giannis and pirate him away from the Bucks.
it is irrelevant what you go in the draft anyway. Hard to shine defensively as well when you have to cover Young's opponent as well
It sucks that the squad is in a weird place of uncertainty otherwise i think the team could have convinced some of these guys on these minimal 1 year deals like Noel, Teague etc.
I thought he signed in Barcelona and was planning to move his children permanently back to Spain...?!?
Clippers sacrificed JaMychal Green for a chance to make a run at Serge. I dont know if it was worth it.
Pacers Interested In Sign-And-Trade For Bogdan Bogdanovic The Indiana Pacers have shown interest in Bogdan Bogdanovic, who remains a restricted free agent after a proposed deal with the Milwaukee Bucks has fallen through. The Sacramento Kings are interested in facilitating a sign-and-trade involving Bogdanovic. The Pacers previously pursued a sign-and-trade for Gordon Hayward before he signed with the Charlotte Hornets. The Pacers offered Myles Turner as part of a sign-and-trade for Hayward, but it is not clear if they would offer a similar package to the Kings for Bogdanovic. The Atlanta Hawks can sign Bogdanovic outright and are willing to match his four-year, $72 million asking price, but it is not clear if the Kings would match.
