I'd rather have Griffin. He was absolutely great on the Pistons and game has matured. Only thing is if he can stay healthy? But I don't think you would see a motivated Harden so I'm saying WB for now. Unless we get picks thrown our way.
That’s true if the guard doesn’t rely mostly on athleticism and can’t shoot worth a dime! Not saying trading WB for Griffin is a good idea, both come with baggage and that’s the reason both teams might want to make the trade. The real conundrum is figuring out what flaws you can live with and what return you might get if you decide to flip that player later. Personally, I think Griffin’s salary would be easier to flip.... ....... ....... .......
Anything you could get for Westbrook would be good but I have the feeling he's untradeable given the fact that he's not good at basketball and is on a laughably ridiculous contract.
Na, harden been cruising to 2nd round without westbrick or any stars playing with him. Brake will get us the championship
I have Blake on my fantasy bball team. I don’t think y’all realize how terrible he was last year: 35% from the field 23% from 3 PER of 11 Negative VORP, BPM and win shares And more important than the stats, his burst is completely gone - knees are absolutely shot. Westbrook was explosive and actually efficient for us before covid hit. And now we have the perfect 5 for him.
fwiw.. Though he averaged career-low numbers last season, Blake Griffin is just a year removed from his best year in the NBA, when he put up 24.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 5.4 assists, shooting 46.2% from the field and 36.2% from beyond the arc in 75 games in his first full season in Detroit. Oct 21, 2020 many on here said CP3 was washed too...
man love this idea and normally im polar opposite. 2020? griffin is all tilman to me. seems like tilman kind of guy. i waa told this would have been a good trade 10 years ago..im stuck in past git er done more ..i mean tilly
Blake played in the LEAST and put up inferior numbers to Westbrook led OKC team, nevermind when he was on Rockets. And it's not like Blake did not have talent around him. Played with Andre Drummond AND Christian Wood. Markieff Morris. Luke Kennard too.
Regular season stats don't mean ****, we are chasing a ring with Harden and Russ is in the way ....think more deeply than just stats......he doesn't fit and he takes the ball away from our best player. Find complimentary pieces around Harden and strap it up.... Westbrook is a better Steve Francis as his athleticism WANES his game dies....he relies too heavily on athleticism....he is a poor dribbler, poor passer, and turns it over far too much... Love him as a PERSON, HATE HATE HATE him as a ball player, he is the most overrated player in NBA history. No one wants him for 40m a year, so if you can get a guy who was ALSO injured but far less often than Russ - for the same price who FITS in with Harden you take that risk 100 out of 100.... Russ leaving by himself makes us better - he is a net negative on this team's chances in the playoffs. TEAMS DON'T guard him for a reason...he can't shoot. It is why he has run off every single good player that played with him....they can see it...... DD
He also was given the MVP one year, doesn't mean he's anything but an inefficient chucker who pads his stats while destroying his team.
