Assuming the market has dried up for Westbrook....why not go all in this season and sign Cousins. He is a no brainer all-star center when healthy and would jolt this team to instant title contender status at not too deep of a cost. If we have to get rid of contracts like House to sign him, then we need to nake these bold moves. A lineup of Westbrook, Harden, Tucker, Wood, & Cousins (with Gordon as the sixth man) takes us to the promiseland!!!

Cousins blended in well at GS playing with other superstars. No reason to think he can’t do it here. If he signs for the veteran minimum like he did in GS, the risk is low. If the Rockets are playing the MLE, that’s another story. Perhaps you reach out to Ibaka first since he played with Harden at OKC.
He is damaged goods and never healthy. Russ is also nearing injury prone level heading into the playoffs. When you enter your 30s, getting healthy and staying durable is getting tougher.
