The guy was a rebounding machine and a developing 3pt shooter.

Let's get him to backup Wood.

"Hartenstein" and "Wood" is basically the batsignal for @Williamson.

I wouldn't mind it, we need someone who's actually 250 pounds. I like Wood but 214 lbs isn't going to cut it in a lot of matchups.

I'd try Gasol or Baynes first, but highly unlikely unless we drop further below the hard cap, or they are willing to take mins for some reason.

Well with our propensity for avoiding LT like the plague, Harty is a decent backup that is still developing and is cheap.

If you can get Marc Gasol as a backup or rotation player you get him.

I’m sure he would be cool if we can bring him back. His gf is from Houston.

Why does DD keep asking for white guys?

He needs to sign with another team and put up some good numbers for a couple of weeks first Then the rockets will trade Tucker and multiple picks for him.

Agree. Low risk. High reward. Instead of maintaining mediocre guards like Clemons. At least Hartenstein can contribute something.

If he could just learn to stop fouling once every 15 seconds he’d be a very very good backup in this league. Id welcome him back for sure to see if he’s yet learned to defend without fouling.

So stupid to get rid of him. Why can’t we let our players develop within our system? Hartenstein was at the end of the bench making little money. Just give him time to develop. He was improving.

We acquire young players, give up on them, let other teams develop them, then pay a fortune to re-acquire them.

Lmao. He's trash. But some of you have a thing with certain players if they fit a certain criteria, even if they suck

He was the finals MVP of the G league. Because he is not a switch everything every position player (shh that’s ok not to be a gimmicky player) doesn’t mean he sucks. Our old coaching staff did somethings very well but they were a one trick pony show in most ways. The exit of MDA has OPENED UP MANY OPPORTUNITIES. Hartinstien is one.

Once the Rockets have no objectives other than hardcore rebuild and develop, let's get him.

I do not want to let dysfunctionality rub off on this young buck.

There is a time for everything, I just feel, people in the org are pointing fingers if something goes wrong.
