Not for what we gave up no. Only if we are keeping Harden. We just gave up Roco and picks for him. He does nothing for us if Harden leaves and we are tanking. We arent going to be good.

Christian Wood I really liked when he was with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
    Wood is really talented.

He was really skinny back then. Maybe why Daryl released him stupidly. Daryl always makes these mistakes over and over.
Releasing talented players, even Hassan Whiteside.

Depends on what they trade Gordon for. If they can unlock the ability to use their entire MLE, they could offer it to someone like Ibaka, JaMychal Green or Paul Millsap to get more size in their starting lineup.

I don’t see Tucker being traded unless it’s in the deal with Harden, and the front office isn’t itching to do that right now. They clearly prefer giving Silas some time to change Harden and Westbrook’s minds before blowing things up, unless they get an offer they can’t refuse.

Correction, centers who can shoot are hard to come by. Really impactful game changing guards are not a dime a dozen. Its not a big man's league, its a guard's league. I will say again, this deal means nothing if we trade Harden.

You can rewatch Rockets summer league games and eventually will find out why he was cut by the Rockets.

Yep, that will be only way to unload EGo salary without taking much salary back.

The smarter trade is Russ honestly, more salary space plus young players and pick(s).

Apparently we gave DET a 2nd and upped their protections on the 1st they gave us.

you should read this piece on Wood. There’s a reason why teams cut him in the past and it wasn’t because of Morey’s “stupidity”

Hell you can watch him on Hornets a year or 2 ago and understand why Rockets did not retain him.

Small.sample size but he has the tools to be better.

On offense anyway, defense is still TBD.

You can’t trade a player with the trade exception.

The most amazing thing about this signing is not the fact that we gave a C 41 mils for 3 years just because he got some numbers in a very bad lottery team.

Its the fact that some morons actually believe this team got better for adding Wood and losing Covington.

    LOL

Christian Wood is a better acquisition than any of those dudes individually

this is the type of big man we’ve been needing for years

    You asked the wrong question.

The correct question is : Do you really believe Harden like to play with any C higher than 6 feet 9?
