He sold it to someone who was local supposedly a billionaire and didn't plan to move the team to another city.
What else do you expect? Should Les have made a deep psychological assesment on the new owner?

This is more than good enough compared to other teams being sold

Why? Cause he tricked Tillman into a stupid deal? If Tillman defaults on the loan Alexander gave him then maybe Les can take the team back.

Had we had Alexander, we wouldn't have won either.

He has less money than Fertitta even.

Fertitta is a cancerous parasitic being infesting this organization.

The Rockets multiverse is just unlucky.

I am with @DreamShook on this.

Love to see the reasoning behind the 5 votes for Harden? A guy who has put this team back on the map again since 2012

I’m not sure why a poll was needed. Tilman is the root cause of all the Rockets’ problems.

Green Bay Packers are owned by people. not so-called Billionaires Maybe we could start with Mattress Mac and the people that love the Rockets, get the money together, and buy the Rockets.

Man it goes back further than that - It starts with Ariza not being resigned , That was the first domino.

I can somewhat understand that if we had someone else in mind. Kind of like of how I’m ok losing Covington if Wood is gonna sign.

But we didn’t and ended up playing without a SF for a year and a half...terrible.

sure, they’re definitely not devoid of blame...Harden deserves some too

the way I look at it, the issues with Morey/MDA/Harden are the equivalent of not doing the dishes

Tilman fcked around and burned down the whole house, so Idc that they always let the dishes pile up because we’re now screwed

The thing about the Ariza move was that they were over the cap and had his bird rights - Resigning him was the only way to keep the talent level where it was , the only other option was veterans minimum contracts - the way they went. There were NO other options.

Common sense said resign him and if it isn't working out or money is such an issue , you can move him for an asset (like Phx did).
Rather , it was the first move that signaled cost cutting

Then you had Ryan Anderson's contract , yep , it sucked but at some point would become a positive asset as an expiring - but look at the long list of assets they threw away in attempts to dump it starting with Melton and ending with a first round pick.

And lets not forget about not using the MLE in back to back years.

Then the Westbrook trade and their refusal to take on an additional $10m in salary that would have given them another player / asset.

Dumping Covington was dumb but dumping the 16 pick to Detroit for no better than the 17th pick in one of the next 4 drafts is dumber.

if that’s the end of the deal, I agree. If we don’t get an impact player for the MLE, we might as well tear it all down and hope Tillman is forced to sell.
