in past two seasons wht ibaka could do was pnr n back to the ark shooting 3s, his explosiveness unbelievably fading away…smh
Nowadays we could seldom see his bad temper which dominanted the court in early days if his career.

I thought it was 8.2M after the partial 4.6 M Ariza payment. Bima said TF had the full NTMLE available, which is 9.3 M. Mr.aelliott is quite the capologist too.

You're right, that's what concerns me too, if he ends up in Houston.

Depends on how the trade was structured.

    If it's

    1) A. Houston - Portland B. Houston - Detroit SNT (we have 12.8 x 1.25%)
    2) Houston - Portland - Detroit SNT (we have 12.2 X 1.25)
    3) A. Houston - Portland B. Houston - Detroit C. Houston FA SNT (we have 12.8 exception)
    4) A. houston - portland - detroit b. Houston FA SNT (we have 12.2 exception)
    5) 9.3 MLE.
    6) Eric Gordon for Wood SNT.

Regardless the 9.3 MLE will be available under all of these scenarios.

Okay thanks. Can they use the TPE to absorb salary and use the NTMLE as well? I think it's either one, and not both of them.

It just depends. For example, let’s say we traded Westbrook for Lowry. That would open up another $10 million, allowing us to use both the TPE and mid level.

    Lowry / Gordon
    Harden / McLemore / Green
    House / Nwaba
    Tucker / Jerami Grant
    Wood

Thanks a lot. I hope FVV leaves them. I hate giving up first rounders, but I'm willing to offer RW and the 2021 Portland 1st rounder for Lowry, for this reason. I doubt if Ujiri will bite at it.

They could partially, but the more important thing to keep note of is... They are 15 million under the lux tax.

Very doubtful they go over that amount.

they have a ton coming off their cap today. Gasol, Ibaka and VanVleet. That’s almost $60 million. A Westbrook-Lowry swap would only add $10. They aren’t going to get close to the luxury tax

I was answering a question about the rockets use of both their tpe and ntmle.

In regards to Toronto taking Westbrook for Lowry. I seriously doubt it. Lowry is a hero there and they aren't trading him for westbrook and his contract unless u give them multiple unprotected picks.

    my bad.

maybe. Don’t know. This is kind of an inflection point for their franchise. If VanVleet is gone, what can you build around around a 34 year old Lowry and Siakim?

So it’s a New York not putting a player in the best position to succeed. Ok, got it.

Just weary of the New York media / fan base destroying an 18 to 20 year old mental psyche.
Young man could be scared for life.
