Stone:. Hi, we are interested in Aaron gordon. Orlando:. We like Aaron and he's sign till 2022, but we're open to offers. Stone:. We have russell westbrook avail... Stone:. Hello? You there? Patrick:. Did they go fo my brilliant trade proposal? Stone:. Umm... We've had talks, but no progress yet.
It's not about loving Gordon or that he is a better player than Westbrook. It's about realizing the obvious. Westbrook despite being an all-star and all nba last year, IS at best a slightly positive trade asset and at worst a negative one. You arent likely to get a young player and a pick for him, nor are you getting a good player on a good contract.
Gordon is 10 years younger than PJ, so you’d be making a move that benefits you now and into the future.
AG is 25, PJ is 36. And AG is 6'8, PJ is 6'5 - same wingspan. AG can be secondary ball handler, PJ cannot. AG finishes HIGH above the rim and runs baseline to baseline like a demon. PJ ... seriously, I think the point has been made. Making this trade would have made the Rockets younger, longer and set up building block for a proper rebuild. Especially if the return included Bamba. Or even Fultz.
Sure, but just let me hate them both in peace. No reason to be optimistic, fam. It's time to let it rip. This is a support group now.
In his most recent pod, Lowe talked about how "discussed" means anything. It can be an unanswered text. It could be "hey how bout ____" / "nah" Since this "discussion" never progressed, I would bet it was one of those, rather than a thorough discussion of possible scenarios
While i don't think magic will offer gordon, wouldn't be surprised if they offer ross or fultz and aminu/fillers for WB.
I am a realtor and can totally help you get a home by the water. Baytown is beautiful this time of year!
It must hit them hard every time they see a big contract, they're immediately reminded that they are the franchise who didn't want to pay Shaquille O'Neal entering his prime. No way they can stomach paying Russell Westbrook that much money.
Yes and No... Kinda did it just for the reaction. Kinda did it because this is what a former mvp still in his athletic prime, who averages a triple double, guarantees a playoff round in the East especially SHOULD garner. A 2x silver medal dunker and a #1 overall who isn’t meeting expectations lol Was it Gary Clark? Is the legend making the trade too one sided? Kinda did it to show this is a better Rockets team with Westbrook.
