He’s whipped CP3’s ass twice in a series head to head. And CP3 hasn’t won squat either. Only 4 teams have won the west over the last 21 years. Spurs, Lakers, Warriors & Mavs. So who were you going to trade Harden for that would have beaten Golden St. that year?
Update: James Harden Boston was working on a deal for James Harden regardless of what they are putting out there publicly. The truth is, Boston did detailed research on James Harden. Even more than what was reported here and James Harden has a toxic rep. It's not just former staffers and former players. A number of current players don't like James. That doesn't mean he doesn't have allies. MDA, P.J. Tucker and a number of others that like James but his rep is really really bad and he also has a lot of other issues I was told not to talk about
Ashleym is a notorious lin troll who has multiple different ids and still harbours resentment towards the beard for lin being the trash two week fluke scrub that he was
a post from OP after Morey left... this is the type of garbage that this person puts out...ashleyem is a parody troll account
other takes from this @ashleyem troll account are that PJ Tucker is 1 of the worst contracts in the NBA
Ya, at 8 million he is real bad she forgot her Air ball king Jeremy lin was making 15 million a year whilst being a worthless scrub
*cp3 injury away from a finals appearance. Never understood the jump over an entire series when people make that comment.
You have got to be kidding me. So now he caused Chris Paul's ****ed up hamstring? Bullsh!t. It was bad luck and at the worst possible time. Nothing more, although that was certainly enough to cost us the series. You're crazy, dude. Next you'll be blaming Harden for the Plague.
I agree that Harden has his flaws but I do not think the timing is right to pile on him. Respect him as long as he is still here. It is not going to be very long. These threads are useless. OP is neither disguised nor a blessing.
I doubt the op... who is a known lin troll will even be around here when harden is gone. Harden covered up so much of the rockets holes with his greatness night in and night out, the fact that tilman could still penny-pinch with players and field a serviceable team that would get still to 50 wins was in large part because of james harden. Harden in 2020 was on pace according to 538 founder nate silver to break their RAPTOR fomula index model for WAR( wins above replacement),a record which Michael Jordan set at 28.1 in the 1987-1988 season. Harden had already amassed an insane 16.2 WAR before the shutdown. In a normal 82 game season plus playoffs he was on track for the all-time record. He ended up finishing with 19.9 sadly
If Harden trade is happening then it is best to rebuild with young players only. Brooklyn trade will be crap and I hope they do not pull off such trades. All the rumored tradeable players from Nets are big IFs. We need picks that could land future Giannis or Zion type players. Rockets should be the one to select the players they want rather than forced to accept from what is available. Ben Simmons trade would also not make our team any better and finding the missing pieces around him would be another daunting task for cash-strapped Tillman. Future 1st round picks seem to be the only way forward if Harden trade happens. And I disagree that Harden trade is a blessing. We just don't know yet. How often do we get to see Harden type players? I still believe MDA system was flawed when it comes to playoffs and I will not blame it on Harden. When the entire strategy is built on making 3s, opponents only needed to cover the perimeter to make Rockets lose. Rockets were simply streaky under MDA.
You guys got to stop sniffing Hardens' jock. The Rockets franchise made Harden. Not the other way around. It might take awhile but there will be other great players other than Harden. We gave him everything he needed to succeed. Not the other way around.
