The way I've seen some people talk about him on here you'd think he was prime Wilt.

Nah that's Harden. Wood is like If you stacked two of those other white guys on Wilt's team on top of each other, but black.

We discarded RoCo just like that.

And Harden and Russ have one foot out the door.

PJ is not a sacred cow in this situation.

it’s a theoretical trade that’s not happening. If PJ wants out or Stone doesn’t want to extend? Yes I’d trade him for Thybulle. Why lose him for nothing in a year?

Im saying this in the case that we keep Russ and James. In any case this would all still hurt me.

I hear you, I was the one who said dont trade Beard no matter what.

But it's already gone too far.

    Tilman's fvckery is beyond fixable.

It's a bit too late though. Imagine if Rox trade Russ for John Wall and 9th pick, we would have Dani Avdija by now.

There will be another draft, a better draft.

No such thing as too late.

Except in the case of keeping once in a generation talent like Morey, MDA and now Harden, even Russ.

Innovators and game changers do not come along every draft, hell they do not come along along every decade.

And we had 3 in sync at the same time. But 4 years is the beat of a hummingbirds wings.

Is wood any good? Pistons fans seem fine with letting him walk vs using MLE to pay him.

Heard his defense is atrocious not sure how this makes us any better than last year

there is, but it would involve going slightly over the tax and having no bench. its flashy but probably not the best course of action even if we're trying to win now. plus Tillman won't pay $1 of tax. meanwhile the warriors will get a tax bill of $134M on top of their roster salary. that's more than we are spending on our entire roster.

His advanced metrics show his defense is good...but most of those metrics heavily favor anyone who plays the center position. I'm kind of skeptical that those really mean anything. I don't think I've watched a full pistons game, I've only seen youtube clips of Wood playing. I was under the impression that he was a good defender. I wonder if I can use my league pass to go back and watch those games from the end of the season where they had him playing 35+ minutes.
