If you use TPE and full MLE, Rockets are in the LT. Do you really see that happening with this owner?
I like Favors but if you had Robinson, why not just start him and sign a vet min back up? Same with Wood? And I'd bring in Ntilikina (instead of Ellington - poor defender) in that Knicks deal. Start EGo and have Ntilikina be his back up. But if your point is to have an uber deep team with young backups then I guess you've succeeded.
It's possible? Three team trade: HOU – GS – IND (or ORL) GS: Gordon (HOU) (into TPE) + TJ Leaf (IND) [or Khem Birch (ORL)] HOU: Looney (GS) + Myles Turner (IND) [or Aaron Gordon (ORL)] IND [or ORL]: House (HOU) + HOU 2021 1st (lottery protected) + GS 2021 1st (top 5 protected) Westbrook Burke (VM) Mason Jones Harden McLemore G. Green (VM) Woods (NT-MLE) Nwaba Jae’sen Tate (VM) Ibaka (S&T) Tucker Vonleh (VM) or Harty (VM) Turner Looney Henson (VM) or Harty (VM) Shifts: A = attack; S = shooter; R = rim runner; D = defense Brodie (A) - Burke (S) - Nwaba (S/D) - Ibaka (S / RR / D) - Looney (RR/ D) Beard (A/S/ D) - McLemore (S) - Woods (S / RR) - Tucker (S / D) - Turner (S / RR / D) All depends on if can get Ibaka (keep Brodie & Beard placated) Championship caliber squad, baby! Anyway... I think it could work (@D-rock check my math... lol) EDIT: Never mind; looks like GSW are targeting Oubre from OKC
There is only 29 other place to make crazy money playing a child’s game. Most just want the check signed. It’s the coaches and other staff that is day to day.
Once you put in GSW, I literally turned away. But I would amend it to 2 trades: 1st trade GSW: Eric Gordon, Al-Farouq Aminu + Rockets FRP ORL: Andrew Wiggins HOU: Aaron Gordon 2nd trade ORL: Danuel House + Rockets SRP HOU: Mo Bamba
https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2020/11/knicks-to-waive-payton-wooten-decline-portis-option.html Rockets should sign 6'6 Theo Pinson to vet min. He is a good and cheap alternative to Rivers. And sign Kenny Wooten to Vipers.
Like Wood I don’t think teams intend on them being starters because they are probably too frail. They are good for 20 minutes a game. So I don’t believe they should get starter money. Westbrook trade gives us a substantial trade exception. Ability to trade Eric Gordon to lessen the team salary even more to make it work. Mitchell averaged 23 minutes and Wood averaged 21 minutes a game......might be pushing it for over 30 mins on each.
@D-rock Ok fixed. https://tradenba.com/trades/4eReGjI67 Houston in: Toppin / RJ Barrett / Mitchell Robinson / 1st rd picks x Knicks in: Westbrook LoL....cuts $29 M from payroll Edited: I don’t mind trading Eric Gordon to Warriors as long as I don’t have to take Wiggins back. Give us Mamadi Diakite or Nathan Knight. Get a third team that can lower GSW/Rockets payroll or that team willing to take Wiggins.
ya trade machine only outputting one-sided result i gotta say, that's nah win-win bro, literally to say got ORL robbed daytime! Bamba is their future, Gordon their corner stone....(tho i know ya covet AG for months), it's .
AG was for sale during the draft and Magic just signed their rookie stretch 4, Chuma Okeke, yesterday. Aminu, Isaac, Okeke, AG. AG's time in ORL is coming to an end. Isaac is the franchise player now and he also plays the 4. But I'm in agreement with you on Bamba, they won't let him go so easily YET.
if we could land AG, that might keep our star happier for a while, but we still need 1-2 pure shooters to join in. (we got to send away russ n EGo) it's really frustrated to see let go RoCo n didn't pursuit Bogdan.
Possibly, they’ve dropped down to $60M in payroll. Houston probably told them they can’t even afford the partials of the non guaranteed contracts, so they went ahead and axed Elfrid Payton, Taj, Wayne Ellington. Let Bobby Portis walk.....guess Rockets had no interest in him. Rockets have other players in mind in FA. Knicks are set up for taking in Westbrook $41M......but they may go for Hayward......maybe Conley? Knicks doing some leveraging by way of the media.
