One reason it could happen...very very few team have cap space. Atlanta- $44M New York- $35M Charlotte- $19M Those are all the teams that have over $9 million in cap space (ie more than the NTMLE). Atlanta already has Capela, Collins, Okungwu and Labissiere. New York already has Robinson, Randle and Obi Toppin. Charlotte already has Biyombo, Zeller, PJ Washington and Vernon Carey. So none of the teams that could sign Wood for more than us are looking to add to their front court.
What is wrong with you? Why would Rockets want BOTH? Neither of them are very switchable (on perimeter) or very good post defenders.
