No lavar Ball hovering over a team so that's good.

Honestly, yes they can. Only if they play team ball. The front office obviously has to bring in some bigs that can score and most of all play defense.

The definition of a good offense is directly related to points you can generate per possession.

Harden isolations, especially in the last 3 seasons, resulted in an elite level of points per possession.

A problem last year was while Harden led the league in isolations and was extremely good at generating points off of them, we also employed the number 2 player in isolations per game and he was really, really, really, really bad at generating points of his isolations.

Good anti iso ball argument. It can b predictable, and its completely garbage if u have a player who runs inefficient iso plays, a bb player that takes fadeaway. But if u have an elite player like harden, I can't see y one would complain about harden ball for team play.

Like go watch the east team that runs "team ball" a bunch of dude passing it around just to whiff. In my opinion team ball is implement more cause the players aren't good enough to score at will like harden.

But you have to have a team with championship level talent to play championship team ball. This organization hasn't built a championship team since 1995. And even then their go to play was an ISO-Post up on the left block.

You know why it is short sighted ? because Harden has played every kind of style with the Rockets, fast, slow..................

When the team decided to slow it down, they changed the style in the first year of Chris Paul. They led the league in pace for half the season and then for some reason, they slowed it down and it hurt them a bit. Harden just plays whichever style the coach or "Morey" wanted him to play. He is possibly the most adaptable superstar in the league. He gets hardly any credit for that.

You seem to be under the impression that players other than Harden and Westbrook aren't getting touches. What role players on championship level teams are getting more touches than our guys?

Which players are you advocating to get more touches?

You and everyone else is only talking about offense. My point is that you have to play both offense and defense. Most of the time the "team ball" kicks in on defense.

Whatever wins, but we weren't ever winning with Harden as the main man, so time to move on.

I say team ball but since Wood is out we’ve use a lot of iso.
Wall, Oladipo and Gordon like to iso instead of moving the ball more. Oladipo gets the ball and he is a black hole he will 99% of the time shoot the ball. He isos then takes terrible long twos or open or contested 3ppa bricks. Gordon same thing wherever he gets it he shoots it. If he gets it like 5 feet away from the basket he shoots it. If he gets it around the line he tries to drive just to miss the shot and complain :0. Wall is decent but he does iso way too much and takes bad long twos. I prefer him taking those open 3s than when he takes those long twos.

House and Tucker on the other hand over pass but they barely can make their open 3s

only positive is Tate and maybe Nwaba. Brown at times. Missing Wood :|

Clearly Harden should've given the ball up to Gary Clark a bit more. Otherwise we wouldn't have traded him.

Jones cannot get off the bench
We need to give everyone some minutes
    What can it hurt?

Love the irony. Harden is playing career best ball and team ball in Brooklyn but Wall is playing like a selfish inefficient wanna be iso baller

I thought the same thing until I looked at Jones recent stats. Over the last ten games, he has been awful, like REALLY bad awful shooting 20% from the field and 13% from three. After a great January he’s had a terrible February. I think he will get it turned around, but he hasn’t exactly earned more playing time recently. I’d still like to see him play more though.

isoball only worked because we had the greatest isolation player in history running it. James was critisized for his style of play because he was really the first of his kind That could make isolation basketball a top 2 offense in the league year in and year out. We should have had his back.
