    I mean let's hope that Detroit is about to shock the world.

    But probably not lol.

    This isn't a bad move. It's a precursor.

    Get Christian Wood into the TPE and it makes complete sense.

    I think they are positioning themselves to maximize Hardens value. Clear space and load up on future draft picks. This move is in line with that philosophy.

    If his agent is smart, Serge could get at least 16 million a year.

    He is still that good. Ariza got 15 mill from Phoenix that year.

    Can Rockets pay that?

    Whatever. It’s a move that you can’t judge immediately since you don’t know what that pick will get you, but I have to say: maybe not the best for morale.

    There’s already a sky-is-falling vibe going on here, and you have management dumping RoCo for a future 1st (and another pick we may never see). It isn’t exactly inspiring.

    we've literally heard mle available for what 2-3 years now and it has always just sat there. The situation is 10x worse now with the dumpster and people think relevant guys are going to come. lol

    We ain't doing **** anyway with those options, this team is done, we literally have holes in two starting spots plus Westbrook...and Harden that want out, no bench aside for Gordon, enviroment is a joke too, i don't know why players would want to come here to join this mess tbh.

    This was what I wrote when the rockets traded for ariza and saw mutiple people thinking it was to appease harden due to their close relationship.

    I thought Tilman might cut ariza to save money, but I didn't think he trade the pick to get rid of him lol.

    Moral of the story... Never underestimate the heart of a cheapskate.
