    People trying too hard to **** on stone. We flipped Covington for picks. Ariza was worthless. Having space now isn’t a bad thing if we are trying to move these giant contracts.

    Don't get me wrong, this could end up being a bad move. But the UPSIDE is much higher:


    Pre trade - you get Ariza and the 16th pick player in a terrible draft.

    Post trade, it's possible that you get the NT-MLE (9.8M a year) PLUS the ability to take on a player with the trade exception of 12.8M.

    Again, not set in stone home run but to call this just tax savings and nothing else is just a flat out incorrect take for now.

    It’s irrelevant if they don’t trade Harden and maximize his value now. He won’t be happy about this roster.

    I got excited too quickly. Well, at least we have a second again.

    I'm surprised Tilman paid $4.9M, rather than giving up two firsts to avoid paying the $4.9M. It's a step in the right direction, right??
