I know Boston wants to enshrine Smart and I know Tatum is beloved but if you had to do one, which one?

Harden is not Kyrie. I want you to know that. He'd be the best player to wear Green since Bill Russell. His reputation is nowhere near his value.

 

I don't mind it.

People have to know Harden is out of here, we won't be getting top 5 picks for him next year, or its very very unlikely. While this draft is not the best draft it doesn't mean a superstar can't come from it. Lamelo is extremely skilled, Wiseman too, if you get 2nd and can take one of those guys you do it.

Maybe you flip Russ or maybe Russ can do his thing for a few months and you can flip Russ for more assets. The point of rebuilding is asset collection and you never, ever, turn down a top 5 pick when you are rebuilding.

Of course, if Harden wants to resign then sure...but this man turned down 100 million, he's gone.

Brown, Lamelo, 16th pick, and whatever else we can get from EGO/Russ, it's a good rebuilding base.
