What an awesome pick (one of my favorite members of congress)... huge improvement over the previous cabinet...
Ohhh Dear...where will all the Mike Pences and Dan Patricks of the world do now!?! This cannot stand!!
somewhat related Trump’s controversial nominee, Sheldon, to join the Fed board was rejected by the US Senate a no vote by Romney and Lamar Alexander, coupled w the quarantine of Grassly and Scoot, helped to deal a fatal blow to the nomination
Biden needs to lean hard into native american populations - it's an A-plus ****ing troll of the White supremacist party and there's substantial populations in key purple states (AZ, NC,)
As they should, barring unqualified or candidates so extreme in their beliefs that they fall outside any reasonably defined "mainstream" (and doubtful any vetted Biden nominee would fit either category). Since they should also know that simply blocking qualified nominees will simply deepen the divide and come back to haunt republicans when the pendulum swings back to a republican in the White House.
I think he would make a fantastic AG... just wondering how likely he would give up a lifetime position on the second highest court in the land (and a sure USSC nomination) to take the AG position? He is patriotic enough to make that decision...
I hope Biden doesn't. The DC Court is one of the few courts that isn't controlled by right wing judges. And you know that McConnell won't let Biden replace him. Find an AG somewhere else.

Seriously? Good pick! She'll be very busy leading the cleanup of trump's indescribable wreckage. Fumigating Barr's office will take several days.
According to CBS, these 4 are in the running for AG: Deval Patrick Doug Jones Sally Yates & Current AG of Calif, Bacera
