For those jumping ship, which team are you going to pretend to root for now?

2009-2012 was only what, three years? I doubt Tillman will last that long and then maybe we can get an owner that can make a rebuild actually feasible.

 

Yessir. I remember I used to get so upset because Tmac was like “if we don’t get out of the first round it’s on me” and we in Houston took it personal. 2009 was so sweet but it felt weird not being able to celebrate the first round win without Tmac. Crazy how we used to just be happy with winning 1 round. Now it’s really championship or bust.

 

I love Rockets but I love Real Madrid too and actually went to their games since they are in Europe. It hurt my soul I have to root for Mavs in order for Doncić to succeed. If it's Rockets-Mavs I'm taking Rockets 10/10 for life... but if it's everybody else I will root for euro gang in Mavs. Let's see if Stone can build a team I can root for in playoffs because If Rockets will be shitshow Im not wasting neither money on league pass nor my sleeping time at 3 am to watch it

And then you turn on the games on LeaguePass and Toyota Center is empty and dead silent. Owner, local city fans and players around the league - nobody ****ing cares about Rockets so why would people overseas act like it's life or death situation. If Rockets will play like they care I will continue to support it but if they spit in my face like Tilman or players in recent playoffs did I won't care about them either

We people from Europe know what being a real fan means, it's much much more hardcore over here. If you don't show up at games you can't call yourself real fan no matter how long you post on clutchfans

I didn't mean to write it personally to anyone but in my city there's a soccer team. I can't literaly say im a fan because these gang related dudes that are at every game will ask me which sector I sit and If I don't know answer they will say im not a fan and I just watch that team and conversation for my own good should stop there lol. I heard stories about rappers that wore logos of teams in his videos and then got threats/beat up because they are not part of their community and just tried to act like itIt's unacceptable in some parts of Europe to play chant noises from speakers. It's like a hole in the honor of fanbases... It's so ****ing loud without it that it's not needed anyway.

And we are not talking about some scrub team right now - the stands were empty in the ****ing playoffs when Rockets were the contender. Therefor I am not accepting critique from any fan on this board unless he goes to the games. We internet dudes all just watch and like the rockets

Not jumping ship, but I'm not going to be watching much of this team or let alone the NBA. Tired of players teaming up and I'm not blaming Harden for ditching this team because of Tilman.
