the Celtics would try to not include smart and any fan based deal won’t include him bc they love him. You guys would too. The reality is tho- u can’t hold back tatum and then smart too so he would have to go. He also matches salary as our roster construction is hard to match deals.

It’s not a bad deal Brown has a ton of upside and he is young. I believe with Russ and James gone he will step up more on the offensive end and develop even more on that side of the ball.
I believe he can become an all star talent.

Sometimes you need a chance at a larger role to hit you’re maximum potential.

That’s better then anything Brooklyn is offering. However the obvious choice should be Simmons and the Philly package.

no question, Simmons is the gold standard package and I think you’ll get it

If smart is the holdup from the Celtics being able to acquire harden...then somebody needs to do something to ainge lol

he wouldn’t be- I’m talking from a fans perspective. We almost need smart to match salary. I think too people love smart and trading him for harden the polar opposite of him just rubs the c’s fans the wrong way. Smart is all grit, hustle and defense, harden is flash, scoring and it’s just hard for them to lose smart.

we also just lost kyrie so there’s a lot of apprehension on any deal for anyone who doesn’t overtly commit to Boston and I get that

I think k what’s gonna happen is your gonna get Brooklyn Brooklyn Brooklyn and nothing else leaked and leaked again and then once he gets it known that the rockets don’t want Houston’s deal then suddenly the “ he would be open to philly if only Brooklyn won’t happen” Morey will take the chance and he’ll get him to stay.

these things drag out. But in the end patience is key. I think u get Simmons unless Tillman is just such a stubborn ass

Harden and Tatum duo with the right pieces that could be acquired by Ainge through trades would make Boston and the Nets the best two teams in the east. If they could get a legit 4/5 they would be impossible to stop. They can always get Hardens personal body guard in Tucker

Losing Irving was good in some way lol, what sucks is that you didn't get anything out of it obviously, you should've traded his ass.

I don’t think Harden will say no to Philly. Shams did mention Philly as a team he would welcome a trade.

I'm hoping for Murray + MPJ.

I'd love to see Harden in Den with Jokic, and I'd love that trade package for us.

I agree, harden Tatum kemba is still a very good team and who know what happens w Hayward. We are one of the few teams who could lose brown and smart and still have enough in the East.

If I was ainge I’d call u guys and make the offer and then make u guys put the pressure on Philly or whoever else like this is what we have in the table- it meets our requirements beat it now or lose harden.

no, totally glad he’s gone but him leaving us makes the fan base just uneasy ab losing another star especially for brown. IT was a fan favorite but kyrie was the right trade for a better player and younger. Losing brown at 24 for 2 years of harden would be hard.

also losing kyrie essentially meant losing out on AD. If kyrie stays- ainge gambles on ad. Kyrie left and that killed any chance of that. We on'y wanted kyrie back to go after ad and pair them together. Overall kyrie himself leaving was a plus

Boston should consider trading Kemba for Kevin Love or Steven Adams type if they get James. They are a legit 4/5 away from being the best team in the nba with Harden and Tatum

Yea, kemba actually had a good year for us and was great in the locker room. Totally opposite of kyrie- he made the team fun and easy going. He still had a good year although he sucked in the bubble. I’d move him in the right deal but idk about for love. Def easier to move tho if u get harden

Funnily enough bleacher report has Boston now as the front runner for Harden. Ainge is like a quiet assassin.

He kept stockpiling picks for this day.

No Pippen situation now. Play the trade game like New Orleans did with Anthony Davis.

Nope, Harden should not be traded to a West team.

Need to get him OUT of the West for competitive reasons and too many games vs. Harden would be too cruel.

Just sign Ibaka, he is better fit than either Love (no defense) or Adams (not playing in death line up).
