Harden doesn't have a ton of leverage here. He can pout, but ultimately he is going to play. Harden loves hooping and I doubt he would start sitting out games. I could obviously be wrong, but in reality the Rockets don't have to trade Harden. Of course, this year is probably the year that you will maximize his value since he is not expiring.

Wall, even when broken, is better than Westbrook, but that contract is only slightly better.

Someone will have to explain this to me. So you're going to trade one drastically overpaid, inefficient combo guard who's injury prone for another drastically overpaid, inefficient combo guard who hasn't played an NBA game in almost two calendar years and is coming off a major injury. His contract might rival Westbrook's as the worst in the league.

To me, the only way this makes sense is:
    (A) You're officially blowing it up and Washington is throwing a ton of picks at you.
    (B) You're completely insane and trust Wall to come back to the player he was in 2017 (which wasn't even that good).

I guess the first one kinda makes sense, but you'd have to REALLY be getting some legitimate draft picks to want to pay John Wall $130 million the next three seasons.

Not sure the point, but whatever.

The stink of Westbrook would at least be gone.

When there's THIS much smoke in the NBA, there's always fire. He will be gone before the season starts.

If we get a pick or two out of this I'm down for it.. We're rebuilding now, rather we like it or not. If we get lucky and Wall is the same player he was three years ago or close to it, we have another asset to flip next offseason.

You obviously do it if you can get rid of westbrick. He’s better than him anyway. At least wall can be interesting to watch and he’s been with harden in recent weeks in Miami

This is the only Russel Westbrook trade that has made sense to me so far.

That's fine, I don't dispute that. I'm just saying that the Rockets don't have to trade him. If we are actually entertaining trading for John Wall, my guess is that the Rockets are going to keep Harden at least one more year.

One team's trash is another team's treasure.

In this case one team's trash is another team's trash.

I wonder if Wall is into MAGA.

Wall will attract fellow Kentucky pals Boogie and Bledsoe.
