I hate that things leak so easily these days. Even if Harden told the FO he wanted out, or wanted to go to BKN specifically, we could've still traded him elsewhere without other teams being wary of his intentions. We would've had to act fast, but he does still have 2 years on his deal so it's not like a AD/Kawhi trade situation where the new team has more to lose in terms of trading for him without an extension.

Without a ton of picks, this could be the worst trade package for a top 5/6 player in his prime of all time

**** that. They better be on the phone with Philly and get simmons because the likely hood of you getting a Simmons type of player is non existent no matter what picks you get with the nets. You are lucky to get a player with simmons talent with the overall pick let alone picks in the 30 range. Tillman better not do this deal the nets. **** him.

Do folks actually trust the front office to do a competent rebuild?

Nets not giving up KD nor Kyrie, what on earth could they offer the Rockets that's somewhat respectable for Harden. o_O

People what rebuild, but doesn't look like our front office is capable.

Doubt it would matter. It's not likely any team would trade for Harden without talking to him, and they find out his intentions then.

It will be very enjoyable seeing the Harden Hater Brigade on CF have to watch James win multiple titles on Brooklyn.

So what's the deal? Two scrubs and fifty picks for harden? Good luck to us, considering the picks won't be north of 20....

This was big fear that Tilman is so pissed at Morey, he will do anything to avoid Harden and Morey reuniting and potentially getting a championship. He will not let that happen, not on his watch, even if it means eating a brooklyn sh*t sandwich.

But why trade now then? Why wouldn't u wait for a much better offer? Does Harden have nudes of Tilly he is about expose

If we do not get a young all star out of this, Houston will have to endure (with the new rules) a lousier form of "the process" for 10 years or more hoping that eventually one or more of our top 3 picks turns into a star. Without an Hakeem, Yao or a Harden to attract other superstars we are for the most part another city between the coasts and a Drexler ?, Barkley? Dwight Howard, Chris Paul and Westbrook would never have come here. Nor would we have been in the running for Bosch, Butler and other stars that we came close to getting.

If it was the difference between the Simmons offer and the poo-poo BKN platter then it would. Harden didn't seem that opposed to Philly - Morey's traded for guys before who weren't all-in here.

I'm happy to start over without Harden and Westbrook. What have they won in the NBA except individual awards. Goodnight, get me some team ballers in here and lets play as a team. We win and lose as a team.

Too bad the nets offer is literally just the kitchen sink in a multi-million dollar mansion if it doesn't include Durant/irving.

Marble walls, granite, oak floors, top of the line appliances, electronics, furniture and bedding not included.

KOC also reported in that podcast that he's been told Tilman will not trade harden to Morey. Yup 2020 is going to 2020.

Dimwiddie and LeVart and a bunch of picks that will be good in 4 years . Highway robbery. The Nets get to keep Allen and Prince
