Not going to lie brother, those few months with no sports was very stress free. As a native Houstonian, its so hard to not be loyal and follow regardless. However, with owners like the Astros, Texans, and Rockets have currently and the terrible mismanagement of things, I may finally tune out for awhile.
The situation with the Rockets and their joke owner was pretty obvious, I'm sorry if you still believed in the franchise.

The Texans aren’t much better tho.. the only team worth a **** in this city is the Astros. “Cheating scandal” aside, they are winners.
The Texans trash status has been firmly established for a while now, it's not a recent development like the Rockets. They went from a top 5 organization to a Knicks level dumpster fire in less than 18 months
Saw a #34 Oilers jersey at Dick's the other day. They cheated. It doesn't matter if 'everyone does it'. Cheating is cheating. Morally compromising is what is wrong with the world. You make a deal with the devil, you lose in the end. I'll pick the Astros back up when this current team is gone. Was really refreshing. At the end of the day, sports is brain candy. I had a bad taste in my mouth, I guess piss, from the 'Stros scandal and not worrying about sports, or at least, having it as a tertiary thought, was nice. Posting on CF is also brain candy.
Get off your soapbox that seems to double as your high horse, already. Imagine everybody doing a 100mph down the Katy freeway and you were the only one to get pulled over. Yeah, that would suck. But that's not the analogy. Now imagine everybody doing 100mph, including you, but in your vehicle you happen to be breaking up with your psychotic girlfriend at the moment. She doesn't take it well and instead of just arguing like an adult, she yanks the gawdam wheel, while you're doing 100 and you crash into the median wall. Ambulances come to patch you, cops come to evaluate, and what they determine is you driving at an unsafe speed and wrecking into the median, so they issue you a fine on top of everything, impound your car, shame you and put your photo in the local news as irresponsible. Fugg that.
I tend not to think so. Crane caved with MLB, but so far I'd say not a bad owner. Texans and Rockets, yes. Especially the Rockets.
