    It seems like atl is still on track by continuing to acquire potential and building their team, rather than just going for it now, so yeah I don't see them doing it either. Not much of a fan of what atl has to offer anyway.

    Agreed. Everything since the decision to move on from CP3 has been a complete shitshow. But if you're Stone and Silas, you have to try and make the best of your situation. You either move forward with the guys on the team and try to contend, or if they want out, you get the best possible packages you can for your veterans and start from scratch.

    At least if Harden goes to Philly, he can reunite with Morey, and the Rockets get a young star out of him while they still can. I can live with that (although I'll be drinking heavily whenever the trade goes down).

    Would love if we could pull off this kind of deal (doubt it), but Westbrook could stay with this group and we could ball. Tried to send PJ, because MIA has interest, but couldn't get it to work given all of the FAs they have.

    Cmon Clutch...you know well Morey didnt just up and bolt like that because he didnt want to deal with the mess. Morey left because this owner and his son were interfering with his work.

    an example of some of the delusional nonsense I’ve been seeing from Sixers fans...

    Why no discussion about the fact that Ben Simmons is under contract for the next FIVE SEASONS, while James Harden is under contract for just two? Obviously Ben is getting paid $10M/yr less than Harden also at a lower max.

    In trade, Ben Simmons should have MORE value than James Harden. That's why these crazy deals with us throwing in tons of picks, Thybulle, Milton, etc. are outrageous.

    This guy sounds like one of those who were super happy when the Sixers traded the farm for Tobias Harris and resigned him with a 5 year max.

    Ben simmons, jrich, horford and multiple 1st round picks/swaps to houston.

    Harden & Eric Gordon to the sixers. Trade Westbrook to orlando or charlotte or knicks for cap relief, picks or anything they can get.

    Rockets not only get younger and gain cap space, they would also likely be a good/entertaining team.

    Simmons
    Jrich
    Tucker
    Covington
    Horford

    That's a damn good defensive starting 5. Big long and athletic. The only non shooter would be simmons, who'd also be the one with the ball.

    Add in whatever u can get from the Westbrook trade... Not bad at all.
