Only based off the chart, seems to have great support at 3.80-90 on the daily. RSI crossing midpoint and slight uptrend in MACD. Mid term play where PT is 7. This is relatively safe bet in my opinion with such cheap premiums. I’m going very light though nothing crazy
One that I am looking at that could jump soon due to some catalyst is OPK . I haven’t looked too much into it but the CEO Philip frost added 250k shares. Like I said though total speculation
There could be something there, but that dude's always buying -- almost monthly... probably needs to considering where that thing tanked from : https://www.nasdaq.com/market-activity/stocks/opk/insider-activity
Asia forms world’s biggest trade bloc, a China-backed group excluding U.S https://www.cnbc.com/2020/11/15/asia-forms-worlds-biggest-trade-bloc-excluding-us.html
It didn't have to be this way, but China's influence in the region will accelerate now. Towards the end of Obama's term, Singapore and other US allies in the region openly supported the TPP (a US proposal). They knew it would piss off China (which is a big risk for the smaller countries), but stuck their neck out anyway to balance power in the region, with China getting more aggressive over the South China Sea. Then Trump admin torpedoed the deal, leaving everyone else in an awkward position and negotiating from a position of weakness with China.
Everything I've read says the immediate economic impact won't be as great, but it's more about the the long-term benefits for member nations, but I agree with what you said. Hopefully we can start mending some fences with allies in the future. That article did post a graphic showing the various Asian-Pacific nations and others in trade alliances. Interesting groupings. The CTPPP is what used to be the TPP that the US backed out of :
Before this, asean was already split with some countries with very close ties to beijing, and some to Washington. As trade % shifts, more will inevitably align with beijing on areas beyond trade like intelligence sharing, defence contracts, etc.

@adoo TSM breaking out? I'm just holding, but was wondering how you would read the chart - overextended or time to buy into the momentum?
it appears to b a break away from the top of the first channel, The new top channel is the new resistant level. Bullish I added 4Dec 100 strike CALL Btw , i think the news that tsm will be building facilities in Az, where several Intc plants are, could’ve been the catalyst
this was 1.5 hr ago, when tsm was ~ 98 now that my 100 strike CALL is itm, just make this bearish CALL spread on intc bto 50 CALL, sto 45 CALL---collecting 2.15 premium in advance---defining my max risk to be 2.85
The AZ facility is old news, and isn't very big. The juicy rumour for some time is whether there's already been a deal for INTC to outsource more work to TSMC - it could also just be TSMC making it easier for themselves to find qualified workers for their USA fabs. Maybe this is the catalyst? Looking at the call volume, very high volume on 4 Dec $100 strike calls, most of it bought on 11 November.
