He doesn’t believe anything he says. He likes using rhetoric in a similar way that Carlson does. He cannot rely upon any facts so he tries to lodge in his “gut” as some how being a valid indicator. He then tries to augment it by comparing it to a parents intuition. His argument is very effective for those that really really want to believe what he is saying, but it defies logic and purposely excludes facts that are known. It is disingenuous and he isn’t as convincing as he thinks.
