Would be awesome in Silas system. Fits that mold of center he had in Dallas. Porzingis / WCS / Dwight Powell body frames. Maybe find a Boban backup later in free agency. Maybe Bol Bol?
I'd rather flip Jrue to 76ers for Ben Simmons with 8th going to Pelicans. Rockets need to get LONGER. NYK: Russ Westbrook, James Ennis PHI: Jrue Holiday, RJ Barrett NOP: Eric Gordon, Danuel House + 8th overall pick (Knicks) ORL: Dennis Smith, Bobby Portis + 2022 Rockets FRP + 2021 76ers FRP HOU: Ben Simmons, Jonathan Isaac, Matisse Thybulle, Mo Bamba 6'5 Harden/6'4 Ntilikina (22) 6'5 Thybulle (23)/6'5 Nwaba 6'7 RoCo/6'5 Tucker 6'10 Simmons (24)/6'9 Bruno (25) - vet min 7'0 Bamba (22)/6'11 Isaac (23) *season ending injury* Rockets also save 6M and still have MLE. My preference is Hornets trade for 3rd pick, better flexibility and more win-win scenarios.
House has a T-Rex wingspan. 6'6 with a 6'8 wingspan. EGo is 3" shorter but same wingspan. And Bruno's 7'7 wingspan is crazy. I agree that his injury and then his brain fart in bubble slowed his development with the Rockets. I also have high hopes that Bruno will be brought back and given another opportunity to develop.
There are rumors that Bruno has a wingspan over 8 foot. They haven’t measured him since his rookie season officially. He’s the most physically freakish player we’ve ever seen here. Maybe ever in the nba.
4 to 6 team trades is normal for Rockets. Morey was a HUGE influence with me on maximizing return by expanding trades. Morey tried to get in on any and every trade he could.
Six team trades are not normal! There are definitely less than a handful ever.(maybe none lol) Anything over two is almost impossible to accomplish. Teams get jealous of others too quickly and it falls apart.
The RoCo trade was a 6 teamer. Morey was also putting together a 6 teamer for Butler before he ghosted Rockets. It will become more common now that Morey has his disciples on 4-5 teams and growing. But 2 team trades bore me. I prefer to maximize all trades.
https://tradenba.com/trades/mjefmkn5L There's a tear in my beer... Simmons, Ntilikina, Smith Jr. Gordon, Barrett, McLemore Covington, House, Nwaba Tucker, (pick 21 Jaden McDaniels), (pick 36 Paul Reed) Horford, (pick 27 Daniel Oturu), (pick 34 Udoka Azubuike) This is what it looks like to blow up the house. Couple more 1sts on the way but you done gone and did it now. Back on the treadmill waiting to trade these guys away for another star player. Not good enough for the playoffs and not bad enough for the lottery.
I like three teamers. They seem to be two main teams dealing and a third kind of gathering assets as a dumping ground. RoCo trade was 4 btw. I think 5 is the biggest.
https://tradenba.com/trade-machine 5 team trade to BREAK all 5 team trades: CHA: Russ Westbrook, Danuel House ORL: Eric Gordon, Devonte Graham, Justin James, Jalen McDaniels + 3rd pick overall (from Hornets) PHI: Buddy Hield, Terry Rozier + 15 pick overall (from Magic) SAC: Josh Richardson, Cody Zeller + 76ers FRP HOU: Ben Simmons, Aaron Gordon, Matisse Thybulle, Mo Bamba 6'5 Harden/6'3 McLemore 6'5 Thybulle (23)/6'5 Nwaba 6'7 RoCo/6'5 Tucker 6'8 AG (25)/6'9 Bruno (25) - vet min 6'10 Simmons (24)/7'0 Bamba (22) Rockets save almost 2M, still have MLE. 3 of the 5 starters are ball handlers, doubling Harden would be extraordinarily dumb. Rockets would destroy hit traps and peel switches too. This team would RUN it down opposing teams throats, pace would be electric.
You are right, Bell to MEM for Bruno was a separate trade. But Morey was trying to roll that into original trade for RoCo, Bruno to Rockets, 2nd to Grizz and Bell to another team. You are right 5 team trade still the record. 13 players is also the record. RoCo/Capela trade was only 12 players but Morey almost made it 14 player deal for new record.
4 Team Trade: Rockets Out: Harden, Westbrook, Gordon Pelicans Out: Ingram (4yr/$120m), Hayes, #13, 2 future 1sts Bulls Out: #4, Lavine, Porter Jr Magic Out: Fournier, Bamba, #18 Rockets in: Ingram, Hayes, Lavine, Porter Jr, Bamba, #13, #18, Pelicans 1st Pelicans in: Harden, Fournier Bulls in: Westbrook, Pelicans 1st Magic in: Gordon, #4 Flip Porter Jr, Tucker, Hayes #18 to the Spurs for LMA, Gay hypothetically say #13 is Killian Hayes Sign Mudiay, Justin Holiday, Noel, Jae’Sean Tate, and Gerald Green Hayes/Mudiay/Clemons Lavine/McLemore/Tate Ingram/House/Holiday/Green RoCo/Gay/Caboclo LMA/Bamba edit: didn’t realize I could edit sorry everyone ignore the post below
Thinking on this, switch #4 and #13 so Orlando has incentive to trade for Gordon’s contract, and then use 13 to draft Killian Hayes.
Is something like this feasible? This is assuming Harden is unsalvageable and wants out.. This works on NBAtrade: Rockets trade: Harden, House, Tucker Rockets get: KAT, first pick, tenth pick Wolves trade: KAT, first pick, DLo Wolves get: Harden, Rubio Suns trade: tenth pick, Rubio Suns get: DLo, Tucker, House Then of course you have to make a seperate trade involving Westbrook. Maybe just into the Knicks cap space, getting Randle and/or a draft pick (likely in the 20s), because it sounds like his market is non-existent.
Edit: god sorry guys had a long drive today and clearly I’m very tired and incapable to properly hit the edit button
