You're kind of missing what kind of game it was and the entire reason the game was delayed in the first place.
Mayfield only threw for 132 yards with a lot of wide passes not bc there was pressure or the dbs showed up.
This was a lot like the 2012 Chicago bears game.

Needed more hurry up throughout the game and I think that's on Kelly at this point. The main reason for the loss is not being able to punch it in from the 2 with a RB. That's 7 points and the missed field goal. Happened too many times this season. 2 yards!

Well, thanks to D4... Chubb did the honorable, smart thing. Watch him get trash talk on Social Media now because of Fantasy Football

Weather was bad to start, didn’t look to be terrible throughout.
He was a part of the problem, maybe not the main part. Shouldn’t get credit for digging out of a hole you helped build.

Yet SOMEHOW the Browns managed to score 10 points, and would have been 17.......no excuses.

Running the ball effectively when the other team knows you are going to run the ball is probably the most demoralizing thing an offense can do to a defense. I wish the Texans could bully ball a team like that, would make it that much more difficult on teams to defend D4.

All of this falls on McNair....he let BOB mess this team up with dumb personnel moves. Now he needs to clean house and bring somebody else in who knows how to run a team.

We were spoiled those years. There was even a thread that Ben Tate was better than the 1,600 yard back.

Oh here is the glitch play by fuller and brown.

Did I say that was the reason the Texans sucked today? The wind was swirling all game, that’s a factual statement. It affected both teams. The Texans still sucked. I mentioned the weather in relation to a play that was being wrongly analyzed, which didn’t have anything to do with the play in question

Again, not making excuses about the weather, just pointing it out that high winds affect sports events that require a ball to travel through the air. The Texans lost cause they tackle worse than a bad pop Warner team and are completely, incompetently coached/managed

The weather was terrible before the game, the bad winds stayed for the game. Either way that wasn’t even close to the point of my OP.

Again, I wasn’t using it as a crutch or an excuse, just saying the weather(or ‘winds’ for those who are hung up about it) was bad. Literally just stating a fact. Wasn’t meant to be a focal point of anything.

if texans had it their way they would have no coach and willing to put out romeo crennel again year after year as a dead body. if they could somehow get away with it and feign interim forever they would.

    interim means not paying...not trying

    no gm.
would field madison marlins if they could they could

crazy part is city of houston eats it up

Miami Dolphins sitting real pretty right now. Might make the playoffs and will get a top 5 pick in the draft.

No, the pass indicates Fuller was exactly where he was supposed to be is just that Watson threw into essentially double coverage but was bailed out by a TE he didn't see that intercepted the pass to Fuller before the defense could.

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

Either way, that lucky play was the first offense of the game and it happened with 5 minutes left in the game. If Watson was what done think he is, we would have had more than 7 on the board at the end.

Do you blame Watson for the atrocious play calling on first and goal from the 7? Do you blame Watson for the missed FG?
