Lebron is clearly out of his prime. He’s just still damn good. Nobody matches the physical gifts he’s been blessed with

AND 3 first rounders with only the third being top 5 protected.

Even then I am not sure I’m on board because like Houston those picks are mid to late picks and those contracts are all 3 plus years.

And in today’s NBA James is a top 7 player so it is just a difficult decision.

If you make this trade you hope the NY rumors for Russ are real and pull that trade trigger too and start the rebuild.

I would take it but Rockets need to get younger too, no guarantee Harden re-up in 2 seasons.

Simmons would be a building block.

And I trust Simmons in postseason over PG13.

Would also add either Meyers Leonard or Josh Jackson with MLE.

    6'5 Harden
    6'5 Oubre
    6'7 RoCo
    6'10 Simmons
    7'0 Leonard

That is a long athletic run/jump team that can all shoot the 3 (outside of Simmons).

And Simmons leads the NBA in assists for 3's.

And this would be a killer small ball switch everything unit.

    6'5 Harden
    6'5 Oubre
    6'8 Jackson
    6'7 RoCo
    6'10 Simmons

Brooklyn is a real possibility according to Jay Williams . I don’t see the fit especially Harden and Irving but damn offensively that is insane especially if they retain Harris

    Irving
    Harden
    Harris
    Durant
    Jordan

    that’s just insane firepower

Harden going nowhere, no need to necro bump this thread prematurely.

Fire power would be insane but defense would be the polar opposite lol, i also doubt Harden and Irving would fit together, on and off the court, but that's just me.

Out. Morey is desperate for Harden. I'm not moving him at all costs. This title must be changed to a random suggestion. It looks as if it has occurred.

I saw a stat person tweet that stat of Simmons & Westbrook being in top 3 in the league for assisted 3’s.

Then came the comment of Simmons being a taller Westbrook minus the boneheaded ill advised mid range.
Simmons having better judgement in his mid range jumpers.

    And the turnovers.

Love Russ energy but the guy just turns over the ball too often.

Yes, Simmons gets his running start from mid court and teams have to set a wall at the free throw line to defend him...much like they do Giannis Antetokounmpo. Rockets shooters would have a field day w / that, incl Harden.

I just wouldn’t trade Harden for Simmons, now that reports say Harden willing to stay even if Westbro leaves.

Not sure who Farbod Esnaashari is supposedly a clippers insider he claims on Twitter that the Rockets and the Nets are talking now about Harden for Dinwiddie, Prince, Allen, LeVert and two FRP picks trade.

I like all these players, but not one of them is a 1st or 2nd option on a championship team.

What is obvious is Harden wants out and that’s why Russ already has demanded a trade. Russ is being himself assertive and loud about his demand and Harden like his usual passive demeanour.Harden won’t be like Russ to outright about it. You can bet they both have orchestrated a plan to leave.I feel sorry for Stone being handed this mess

Jay Williams, Perkins and any others have mentioned the Nets so I think there might be some truth here

Harden wanting out is not obvious to me. At least not this season, he has said that he is locked in this season.
