Well if we are just throwing **** at the wall like these professional idiots. Curry and a 1st for Westbrook. That was pretty easy. Someone hire me.

I mention Mitchell Robinson as the necessary piece from New York and I get 9/10 people saying I'm out of my mind. Let's hope that Russ has more value than most people on the internet believe that he has.

Woj: Organization has no intention of engaging in trade talks for Harden. They expect to play this season out with him. Westbrook, they are open to talking to teams. Both sides are very open to it but I’m told it’s a very slow developing marketplace. There are not teams right now who are ready to move quickly at the very least to take on $132M in these economic times and number two at Westbrook’s advancing age. Maybe that market opens up over time but right now his immediate future remains in Houston with the Rockets.

He will have more value to some teams than others. We just have to hope the team that assigns the most value to Russ is a team that has assets we want.

I don’t think that is being out of your mind. He was like the 30 something pick in the draft. He’s averaged pretty good numbers and he’s really young. I think that would be fair.

AKA if you want Westbrook, he's not coming for free.

This has to be the move. The Rockets have 1 year to show James they are committed to winning. You can't trade Russ for less than equal value and expect him to be happy. Tilman hasn't proven he knows how to put together a winner, with the Rockets getting worse every season during his tenure. I understand Harden's hesitation.

I realize this isn't the random trade thread, but F it, these are trying times.

I want Derrick Rose and Christian Wood.

    Derrick Rose
    James Harden
    Danuel House
    Robert Covington
    Christian Wood
    ------------------------------
    Eric Gordon
    PJ Tucker
    (McLemore/Nwaba)

    And the full 4/40 MLE...

Most prolific scoring duo in history of NBA is not empty calories.

    At all.

Not saying there are not better fits next to Harden, but let's stop twisting reality when it comes to Westbrook as a top 12 player in NBA.

Tillman inherited a 65 win team on the verge of being world champions so what does he do? instead of replacing Ariza and Luc he signs Ennis or better known as James penis and MCW so he could save a few bucks.

Then there was the refusal to go over the cap and nixing a few trades that Morey had setup to get us back in the mix because he didn’t want to pay tax. This man is toxic with zero people skills which in itself is strange given how he has made his money over the years.

You can’t treat multi millionaire athletes like you’re average workers in you’re casinos and restaurants bud! These guys have huge egos

Robinson should not be make or break for trade with Knicks.

Knicks FRP is the deal breaker.

Mitch or RJ and the Pick is where the trade should start.

    1. Rj
    2. Mitch
    3. #8

    That’s their respective values.

we traded a better pick for Battier. We got a better pick for Chase Buddinger.

I don’t care what his salary is. Russ is a top 5 attraction in the NBA. He’s pure energy and will average 30/10/8 as the main guy. The Knicks are irrelevant in the NBA and will remain so unless they do something drastic. Mitchell Robinson and the 8th pick is a buy low offer.

    Russ + Julius + 1 more star is a 6/7 seed

they are three years away from being a playoff team as is. Thibs will maximize Russ and they will gel.

Harden is part of the problem if showing him they are committed to winning when he’s to blame for the WB massacre and at the helm of a cheap add owner, they’re better dumping him for picks when they can get the most upside

This team is a mess. WTF was Morey doing the last few years?

I just hope there are teams out there foolish enough to think that Westbrook is a top 12 player in the NBA.... that way we actually get something for that waste of space when we trade him.

Everybody out here pretending Russ is useless.

he was the teams best player for a month. He put up near triple double averages for an extended stretch.

we all know his flaws now. But that’s good. We/he/everybody can stop pretending he doesn’t have them.

so what if he’s unhappy? Getting back crap is worse.

get back FAIR value, or keep him.

fair value isn’t some of these crap proposals. Nor is it pie in the sky stuff.

there's no such thing as getting fair value for westbrick with his entire baggage. and you highlighted a month. what about every other time in the season? Those don't count apparently. the much larger sample size

this fascination with his casual counting stats is ridiculous. it's the same logic that got him the mvp over harden for averaging less 2 rebounds more than Harden. And harden destroyed him in every other single meaningful basketball metric. Both personal and team. It's also the same lack of self awareness that he wants to get back to regardless if it translates to winning. Which it obviously doesn't

The NBA is not a self perpetuating mechanism where employees bow down becoming robots like in restaurants and casinos.
