Everyone is saying Mitch Robinson is untouchable.

If we traded Russ to the Knicks and don't get Mitch + Pick #8, we just threw away 2 FRP, 2 Pick Swaps and two more years of CP3.

I have Mitch valued as a lottery pick. So that's worth two first round picks.

Pick #8 would make up for the rest of the deal. Anything else is gravy.

Guess we'll see what kind of GM we've got with Stone pretty quickly.

Take this trade and then make another with ORL.

ORL: Danuel House + Rockets FRP (Knicks 8th overall)
HOU: Aaron Gordon, Mo Bamba + Magic FRP (15th overall)

    Harden
    EGo
    RoCo
    AG
    Robinson/Bamba

Enough salary cap to sign Christian Wood or Jerami Grant without SnT?

Or use EGo as part of SnT.

    Still have MLE too.

The way you break things down gives me hope. Now let's just hope or new GM and crap owner think the way you do.

If we don’t get Mitch it better be RJ and Knox and 8th

Harden and RJ could prove to be lethal

@BraBra, if this deal goes down in the next few days, I'll take back every snarky thing I ever said about you.

If it turns out to be just a typical run-of-the-mill garbage rumor, well... :D

Yea, I'd take RJ as well if no Mitch. I think Mitch fits in better here and RJ will thrive next to Russ.

The Knicks are the worst team in the NBA. They should offer their whole team for a star like Russ. They aren't building blocks to anything but a 4/5 seed in 3 years at the soonest.

They add Russ they are automatically in the playoffs with whoever they put next to him in the East.

Seems hard to believe Russ would like Morey that much when it has been known Daryl wouldn't have traded for him if it was up to him, but what do i know.

Why in the world would the Knicks trade RJ or Mitch Robinson?

I say they are. We'll see who is right if a trade is even made. Luckily we'll know soon enough (December 22, 2020) whether or not Russ was traded and if it is the Knicks if it's just for trash or if it's for what he's worth in Mitch + Frank + #8. If he's traded for less than that we have a lot bigger issues than I thought.

Depends how healthy he is. Recall that one reason we got Russ in the first place was the perception that he would be healthier than CP3 come playoff time. It worked out exactly the opposite.

If we trade Russ for trash, in 9 months we are going to be complaining that we let him go too early. It's an endless cycle.

Maybe? But he also met and has talked with Morey personally. Morey's biggest thing is that you have to get a long with your superstars so its not something that i woulndt believe. Its also not like Bra Bra has been wrong a lot either...so idk.

If we trade Russ for trash, we need a new (another) GM. As GM, even I could manage that.

I would rather hold onto him than trade him to the Knicks for anything less than Pick #8 and Mitch. It's just not worth it what so ever.
