The thing is, to get Georgians to vote for a Democrat, you have to jump through hoops, sell your children.

The Republican has to show up and say, "Howdy, y'all." And win. No matter how scummy the candidate, but remember, Georgia was a strongly Klan state, you know? Old habits die hard. In the book, even Rhett, Ashley, and Frank were Klan. Two crooks running as Republicans? What's our point?

Stacey Abrams, work your magic, you will need it.

You know especially during this day and age, that's how politics work now. You throw as much crap at the wall fact or not, and hope they persuade voters. I wouldn't be surprised if she airs an attack ad tying Warnock and defunding the police/violent protest in the background.

2021 can't get here soon enough.

Why do we care what you want?

    Do you live in WV?

It's very telling that you still did answer the yes or no question and its why progressives are in danger of getting nothing done.

You seem to think that you are superior to everyone else and know what's best for everyone, get over yourself.

Why do you care about the Georgia senate races?

Last time I checked Manchin is a federal legislator and effect me just as must as people in WV.

I have ideas about policy and I defend then. I don't know how that's any different than anyone else.

You aren't from Georgia. Why are you telling people from Georgia what's best for them?

I see you are on one today.

It's amazing how you are always complaining about posters dodging questions and not arguing in good faith yet you continually do the same thing.

Again would a republican senator be better for you than Manchin?

Okay. You really get aggressive for some reason. I have thoughts on Joe Manchin and you get personally offended and are questioning why I should care about a US senator that isn't from my state while advocating for US senators in a state you aren't from.

There is no logical consistency to you besides being consistent with being irrationally angry at people.

Yes I defend my policy positions. I don't hold a fun to their head when they don't agree with me. I just keep debating my points. How is that any different from you?

How am I exactly debating in bad faith here?

One, I never made a claim that a Republican senator is better so why are you trying to attach that claim to me?

Second, just because he's better than Republicans doesn't mean he should be above reproach which seems like your shtick with Democrats. Anytime someone criticizes a Democrat's policy positions or even implies that they are somewhat compromised by corporate donor interests, you are shocked and chagrined that someone would have the audacity to make such a claim.

Yeah i'm the one getting aggressive.

You also need to actually realize what a debate is, it's not directing every conversation to what you want to talk about.

Dude you are the one who came into my conversation about Joe Manchin with your hair on fire and you are the one offended.

And this convo was about a specific state and a specific senator yet somehow you have turned into talking about states your not from.

And you have the gall to talk about logical consistency?

Why would you even think I believe a Republican would be better than Manchin? You really need to understand that criticism doesn't mean "person is evil".

I simply stated my opinion regarding your opinion that Joe Manchin e is beholden to his people. And then we started our back and forth.

You seem very childish dude. Multiple people that usually are very chill on this message board have told you to chill out with your aggressiveness.

I did nothing but express my opinion about Joe Machine and you made it personal. What is wrong with you dude?

You can also answer my question on why you should care about a senate race that isn't from your state which is apparently something you yourself have issues with for other posters when they do the same.

What are you criticizing him for?

Because his daughter is a CEO of a pharma company?

Because he is voting the way his state wants him to?

Just like you don't want Republican senators because they block legislation you might like, I don't like Joe Manchin to a lesser degree than those GOP senators because he also is in the way of legislation I want. It's that simple.

I think these are valid grounds to criticize policy makers by disagreeing with the policy they advocate for and dismiss.

The people in his state like him even as we know that WV is a deep red state.

You and your nonsensical arguments and clutching of pearls are what's wrong with me.

Put me on ignore again for the 5th time, please.
