Not only all of those 3 points but...

Civil War is messier than that and if the USA got into an actual Civil War today you can expect foreign influence (Delivering support, troops, weapons), it would pretty much be a global affair and not all of the US Military would be on one side.

The man isn't fit for one term much less 3 or 4. I'm consistently amazed at that anyone can support trump the way he acts. It wouldn't be acceptable for the CEO of a company and it's in no way acceptable for the "Leader" of our nation. What a disgrace he and his followers are.

I was trying to be funny, but anyway....

More seriously, what you are not realizing is that many people voted for him *because* of the way he acts. It's all part of his "turning the table over."

Basically, a lot of Americans *want* him to be the bull in the China shop.

I understand why people voted for him. His behavior is getting worse. What I don't understand how anyone can still support him (especially "christians") . As a person who is dealing with 3 elderly relatives with Dementia and Alzheimer I see some of the same signs he's losing his grip on reality. He's unfit for the office.

Exactly! I don’t think anyone has claimed him to be a model example of the Presidency but was elected to shake things up and man has he ever. Washington and the media has been exposed and they are doing what they can to stop it.

I don't think Washington was the one exposed since Trump became president. Most folks had a pretty unfavorable image of DC politics already. What has been exposed is Trump's lying, dishonesty, corruption of himself, his family, and the people who he has put into official positions in our government.

DC doesn't look worse than it did before Trump. Trump looks worse than he did before he was elected.

Seriously though didn’t Trump have a pretty good billionaire life? Why even subject himself to the shitshow that is politics now?

He didn't expect to win. It was cheap publicity funded by stupid people.

Well, it's debatable if he was actually a billionaire.

He didn't expect to win? Great, so that means he wasn't a Russian agent/colluder charged with infiltrating the highest level of government. That settles that./debate

Mueller can close his investigation knowing he did his best.

He's a malignant narscist. He is compelled to seek acclaim and adoration in larger and larger doses. He saw a bigger stage than "The Apprentice" and lept onto it.

If he had all the money in the world, but nobody to admire him for it, Donnie would feel empty and unfulfilled.

Its the same reason he went from real estate mogul, to reality TV star. No sane person would want that, either. Poor ROI.

Also, his pal Roger Stone had been grooming him for the job years.

No, to be both fair and melancholy: his critics usually just quote him verbatim, no spin required.

This still continues to be my biggest worry. I'm actually surprised and glad I was wrong that we didn't see violence on and around election day but as this thing drags on and as it get's more frustrating for Trump and his supporters that the vote counts and court cases aren't going his way things could still be very dangerous.

They should livestream as many of the court cases as possible -- not to embarrass Trump's legal team as much as to lull everyone into a stupor, as per most legal proceedings.
